You're doing great! I'll bet you feel great, knowing your health is helped by these walks. And then you'll feel so much better, in time. I sure do.
About 5 years ago I bought myself a pedometer at Walmart and started walking, shooting for 5,000 steps per day (about 1.5 mi). It is great motivation, trying to beat the latest number of steps, to get to a new level. I have done 10,000 a few times but mostly, with my other responsibilities, 5,000 to 7,000 is my general best to beat.
Keep up the good work! It's not really work when you consider the benefits, though -- right?
