Balance, Moderation, Water , Plan Menu ahead of time, eat slowly and enjoy your food. Get away from process foods. Eat more fresh everything. Don't forget to get out of the house and get some fresh air!
For me, avoiding sugar works well. The more fruits and veggies I eat, the better my day goes when it comes to eating. Yes, eating slowly helps. It takes twenty minutes for your brain to get the message to your stomach that you are satisfied.
I also eat three small meals and a couple of good snacks in the day.
Do all things in moderation. It's okay to eat sweets, just don't eat the whole thing! Watch what you eat and keep it balanced. Your body will tell you when you are missing something. Learn to listen to it.

sitting at the dinner table and not reading or watching tv. just me and my food. when i get the urge to munch, i've been getting up and moving around. so far this week seems to be working, but i'll let you know friday when i weigh in.
