SOOKIE, DEE, DEB...you all made it through the cookies and sweets. the holidays are over and yes I hope the excitement for this new year is still with you as we're a couple of weeks in. Remember you really ARE more fit than you started in the year 2012! If it's your mind, body, or spirit, the fact that you are still alive means there's more to be accomplished in your life! So emoticon because your 2012 was a year emoticon

And as SOOKIE signed up for the January Jumpstart, I hope everyone is jumping for joy in this new year!
I posted a new topic so we can continue to keep each other informed of how well we're doing for 2013...hope to read more and stay inspired by your fit lives in 2013!

Cookies are not my friend but have been making me smash them almost everyday...So I need to get myself together....Yikes!

If hunger is not the problem, then eating is not the solution.

Another good reducing exercise consists in placing both hands against the table edge and pushing back.

One of my make through is to not eat more desserts. I think therein lies my problem but also up the intensity of workouts next week & the week following. There is the answer. Moving matters in weight loss. Hand in hand with food does working out go.

So I have been having a few back spasm but I am ready to get up & do more weight training, walk/run & start doing my yoga workouts as well. I mean I don't eat a whole lot cause when I was growing up I just would eat a slice of ham, stuffing, sweet potatoe yamello & a dinner roll. I wasn't into the whole cake/cookie scene. Now I actually eat more added a slice of turkey, greens & mac & cheese but not too much. Cause I always want the holiday to be more about family & food will be the dessert.

One of my possible plans for Thanksgiving is lightening up a dessert my son likes and I REALLY like but don't cook but on a holiday because I can EAT 1/2 of it BEFORE it gets cool. This year I don't believe that will be my problem though! emoticon

I'm too close to my goal so I'm going to keep that in the forefront of my mind. Food is around all the time not just on Holidays. I'll remind myself. Since my birthday is on Thanksgiving I might have to buy me a cupcake with buttercream icing. I have a workout habit so a little cupcake won't hurt me. Don't have a menu for that day and thinking hard about doing something different. Will not allow stress in. Keep close to The Word and Prayer.

Making it Through The HOLIDAYS, is all about:

Putting your concerns or worries out here so that they are no longer something to fear! Maybe someone can give a great suggestion on making it through the holidays!

It's also about what you plan on doing to make it through this holiday season, which is often celebrated around food!
