Wendy is right LadyIrish... small steps. You can even walk from one end of your apt to the other to start off. Every little bit helps. Just be constant and take it slow.

You are correct Wendy. Sometimes even the fluid intake is not enough. In this heat and humidity it is best to just keep still and try to keep cool.

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

May God richly bless you!

LADYIRISH...It is baby steps. Go a few houses at a time and then work your way up to longer walks.

Mike and I have to rely on others for rides places OR we walk everywhere we go.

This heat and everything...I am NOT going to lie (Greg and Chris would catch me)...I am NOT working out right now.

On August 12 I see a Nutritionist and am going to get plans from her. BUT when you get up @ 8 AM and it is already over 80 degrees forget it.

The fluid intake sometimes isnt enough either. YES I drink an OVER ABUNDANCE of WATER still.

Right now walking around the grocery store is as much workout as I can do. How on earth do you work up from being barely able to walk a block?

Hey Win@Losing Family!
How are you enjoying this hot beautiful Summer we are having? Well some of us anyway! LOL
Well I workout a lot outside but with this intense we are having in the East it is kind of dangerous to workout outside because of heat stroke and dehydration from lack of fluids.

So my question is what do you do when you want to workout but it is too hot? Do you skip working out that day or do you do something else? For me, I try to do my workout early in the morning before the sun gets to high in the sky. Or I get it in during the evening when the sun is going down. I also make sure I drink LOTS of water. Before my workout, during my workout and after. I do all my cardio outside but I usually do my ST inside under the fan. (I don't like AC)
So what do you do what it is too hot and you want to workout? Let's hear your thoughts!
Thanks Peeps!
