I have a dog that takes up a lot of my time between work, studying and trying to take care of my diet and exercise! I dropped by dog off with my parents so that it's easier to balance everything else. I'm on reading week now, so I am hoping to catch up on some assignments so my pup can come back home with me. Otherwise, I am just doing school work almost every other second of the day!
Eating healthy and working out takes up so much of my time! Doesn't anyone else find this? I'm constantly planning for my next meal so I don't get out of control hungry and make a bad decision.

not much, but i have figured out study schedules that somewhat work for me. When i work at night doing overnight tours, i don't sleep out there, but its quieter than home so i've learned to bring my homework and get it done. can't wait to get started on the research papers.
otherwise i'm working on my spaceship project and gonna take out my frustration and channel my energies on wood with nails, screws, staples, saws, and paint. I'm having fun working on mental issues and physical ones. i'm not using my gym time, but i certainly am getting some goodness out of the deal by working hard all day (at least, every day this week).

I've got quite a bit on my plate right now - both figuratively and literally!
Since starting senior year (taking 19 units, working on senior project, studying for the FE, writing grant proposals for graduate school, and grading for a professor), I lost a couple pounds the first two weeks, but then I went out of control this weekend with the snacks!
The gym is helping me decompress, and I've been doing well keeping portions in check up until this point - I'm glad I'm catching it before it gets bad! But I'm still feeling pretty stressed and took it out on a big bag of almonds. I managed to gain 2-3 pounds (okay, three), and I know some if it is just water, but I'm tired of taking my stress out on food. How do you guys stay away from food when you're working on schoolwork? Any suggestions for how to stay on track and lose these last pounds for good to feel as amazing about my body as I want to, so it's the last thing I'm worried about during college?
