I don't know if this is possible in the states, but I have always donated clothing to the Diabetes Association. They bring your clothes to second-hand stores who then donate the proceeds to the Diabetes Association.
You usually can call them, and schedule a pickup.

Goodwill or Salvation Army perhaps? I just googled "consignment shops NYC" and a billion locations popped up on the map. Google both Goodwill and Salvation Army and see where your nearest one is :)
Hey y'all! So I haven't reached my weight goal yet, but I am definitely walking around in some baggy clothes and want to buy a few things to atleast look like i know how to dress myself while I continue to lose weight. Anyone know of good places to donate old clothes/ bags/scarves, etc? Sort of just want to go into my twenties looking like a put-together adult haha
I'm in New York City, so if anyone knows of a place I can give them away to or somewhere I could sell stuff at (even if it's a website... thats helpful) I'd appreciate the recommendations
