I'm at the university of Amsterdam and I'm starting a new semester on Monday. I'm thinking this is going to be the start of a new lifestyle for me. I'm going to study hard, go to the gym and eat healthy!!! (I say this at the beginning of every new block lol) But this time I'm hoping spark people will help me not to slip back into my usual ways :)
Taking 20 hours this semester so I can get all my classes in to graduate (associates) by May so I don't have to come back for the summer or next semester for just a couple classes, because I'm transferring after the summer. I'm gonna be pretty busy but I'm really excited about all my classes and the first week went pretty well. Just hoping I don't get caught up in fast food or put off exercising when it starts getting more challenging
I actuall started my last semester of my undergrad program on Tuesday. I have mixed feelings about graduating. I'm scared as heck of what I'll do after I graduate but am excited as well. I'm trying to lose as much weight as I can before graduation in May. Hope I can do it!

I'm nervous about my classes starting this week. I graduated in May from my undergrad and now I'm taking classes at a different undergrad so that I can eventually apply to medical school. I took a semester off and have been working full time. So now I'll be working full time and taking classes full time. I sure hope I can keep up with working out because I've been doing so well the last few weeks.
i leave for school tomorrow! traveling from FL to NC!! WHOOT get to start my art classes (for i am an art major)... wish me luck! i really want to start going to the gym that is literally right behind my dorm. i just need to get over my paranoia about people judging me in the gym. i know no one really is watching me but i can't shake the feeling that the "skinny" people are judging the fatso on the treadmill.

Congrats to the start of your semester on a good note! I hope things continue to go well for you. I start my last semester of my bachelors degree in two weeks which is completely making me insanely nervous. But in a good way! Good luck with every :D

Thanks PLJ2003! It's nice to start this semester with a bit of optimism! I start next Wednesday (no classes on Tuesday and Thursday for me, with Monday off for the holiday), so I've still got some time, but I'm feeling pretty good about the semester as well. I'm taking as many classes as I could but I'm so excited about every one of them. With some luck and hard work on applications, this'll be my last semester in the US before studying abroad for a year. I'm feeling pretty good about my workout schedule as well, finally really committing to it thanks to all my free time over break. Best of luck to you in your physical and academic endeavors!

Today I begin the second to last semester of my bachelors degree! Usually I feel anxious before the start of a semester but this time I feel prepared.. [probably because I've been doing this for four years :) ]
I have kept up my workout routine for the past couple months, just joined weight watchers and found it to be the most realistic "diet" I've ever done, and not just back on spark but more involved in it, too.
Monday is my weigh in day & I was 2lbs lighter than last week which is a fantastic way to start the semester. I hope all of you have a bright beginning this spring as well!
