I'm taking a parkour class, which is super-cool but SO MUCH WORK--it's a really tough workout every time and I haven't worked out this much in...ever. I'm trying to run a bit more but now that it's getting cooler that's harder to do. I haven't checked out the gym yet, but I've been meaning to.

I'm taking Body Conditioning this semester, so I get to work out three times a week in the gym, and I also go for 2+ mile runs before I go to class, so I'm working out a ton! I just need to get my cravings under control. I told my professor that I want to lose weight by the end of the semester, so if I don't lose any weight I lose points on my grade, haha. Talk about motivation!

I've been sticking with my goal of going to the gym 4 times a week or more, other than yesterday which I missed due to being too sick to go. I've also been eating very well and taking a water bottle with me everywhere. So far, so good!

Over all goal, just be happy and stick to my diet since I was recently diagnosed gluten and lactose allergies/intolerances. Ideal goal, lose 1/2 my goal weight before spring.

So far, this semester is awesome. hope the same for everyone else.

I'm looking forward to using the school's fitness center, as I live in a dorm a block away, but I'm finding that classes are way more intense than I thought they would be... Fortunately, my school is downtown, and all my classes are about 5 blocks away from my residence, so I'm walking a minimum of 20 city blocks a day and not driving anywhere. I also only live on the 3rd floor so it's actually faster to take the stairs than to wait for the crowded elevator. Gonna weight myself for the first time in too long soon...

My broad goal is not to give up on my exercising ! b/c I know it is essential for body and mind.
I also want to cotinue to make healthy food choices and to drink my 8 glassess h2o /day and not gain back the wt I have lost? Yeah, here is to the best semester so far!

I just wanted to ask the group if anyone has set any goals for the beginning of school this year. and for those that have started school how have you been doing with your goal? I hope everyone has an amazing first quarter/ trimester/ semester!
