Bump...moving this thread up!

This thread is for all weight watching, not just members who are maintaing.

I use the point system myself and incorporate it into the Sparks tracker.

Please join me with using WW. Any tips ideas etc you get from meetings would be helpful.
Thanks!

I am counting again. My WW Maintenace says I can go up to 148 pounds. My personal goal was 135 pounds and I achieved that in Nov. 2007.

I usually fluctuate between 135 something and 139 something.
Today I weighed in at 140.2!!! emoticon

Very bad for me and also for the challenge of losing 15 pounds by March 1st--my birthday. emoticon

So today I commit to counting points closely and measuring everything and posting my points before they go in my mouth!

So far today I had brunch. I am up to 10 points and allow myself 20. I am on the flex plan.

Any weight Watchers want to join me, you are welcome!

Hi all,
Any of you use weight Watchers to maintain your weight loss goals? I am a WW Lifetime member since August '07. I still count my points and track my calories here at SP.

If we have any Weight Watchers here, please post any tips you use to maintain using WW.

Also you can talk about the core or flex plan, etc.

Hi Lynn,
I love SP for their tools and the ability to track everything here. But I still find it easier to think "How many points does that have in it". But I also think of the fiber and fat content too. I don't think I would have had the same results with WW if I wouldn't have had SP.

Hi All,
Anyone doing weight Watchers? Either meeting or just doing points or core at home?

They allow me 2 pounds over my goal weight here. I'm not sure what it costs but it was $12.00. I had the monthly pass with e-tools but never used the e-tools as I was always here at SP...lol.
I'm about 9 pounds under my ww goal now but just hit my personal goal today.

I know what you mean about having to pay. Right now I am 10 pounds over my goal so I am working really hard to get it down so that I will only have to pay on my first visit back and not have to keep paying until I reach goal. The meetings can get costly.

Yes Jackie, Me too. As long as I was weighing in at WW and knew I was being accountable I would stay on track. I am going to go and weigh in today at WW for my monthly weigh in. I kept putting it off all month as I have been so busy with the holidays. November is almost over and don't want to miss it. I don't want to pay, so I better get in there...lol

Oh I totally agree the leader makes or breaks the meetings. What I found helps me is the fact that I have to weigh-in and have it written down on the card. I am a very competitive person and knowing that I have to step on the scales in front of someone keeps me tracking my foods and exercise here at sparkpeople like I am suppose to do.

I went to a few meetings in Jan. then found Spark People and it became my support. I just went in to get weighed each week till I reached my goal. I would like to go back and try the meetings once a month as my niece still goes. I never got anything out of the meeting though. They say it depends on the leader. I had one leader I really liked then they moved her to another location.

Nice to see you here.

I am a lifetime WW member as well. It works for me as long as I am attending my meetings. Once I get down to my goal weight, I think I can go solo and that is when I put the weight back on. So for me it is the support group of WW.
