Great work on your weight loss...

And if this helps the confidence, I think you look great! :)

You kind of have to force yourself out of that mentality. Make a list of things you've always wanted to be brave enough to try, and check them off one by one :) Examples...

1. Smile at and make eye contact with everyone you pass one outing.

2. Join a dating website, and email 3 ladies a day (haha, yeah, I said that).

3. Meet a girl, and ask her out...in the first five minutes!

4. Sleep naked ;)

Basically, fake it til you make it! Enjoy :)

Congrats on your weight loss. I found that even at a 50 lb loss it took me awhile to get used to my new body. Almost a year later, I'm still not 100% adapted. All good things take time. And this is an awesome thing! Great effort! Enjoy every day it takes to adapt, you earned it.

WOW!! 150 lbs lost!! that's amazing!! I have trouble realizing I'm much smaller sometimes, I think you just keep reminding yourself of the great things you've accomplished!! You live a completely different life now so its going to take time for it to sink in!!

Great Job!!

So, I know I am not alone here, but is anyone else having trouble adapting to their new self. What I mean is when I was bigger I never had any confidence to ask girls out because of my size. I knew I had a good personality, but I always doubted that that was enough. Combine that with the fact that I have been rejected pretty horribly as well and my confidence was shot. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how I can adapt to my new body (I've lost over 150 lbs.) and have confidence to be bold.
