Maybe join a class...you'd be doing a group activity and may make friends who would want to work out together outside of class. Or maybe your friends should realize that they're making excuses of being too busy and should be taking your lead and exercising with you!!
I feel your frustration. I recently joined a running training program in preparation for a half marathon, but in any metropolitan area there is likely some sort of group that meets with the goal of fitness in mind (usually running/biking, etc.) so you might want to check that out by doing an internet search. Good luck!
Have you tried finding people who Spark that may live near you? You can browse Sparkpages by age, location, even weight loss goals. Or have you searched for a Spark Team that might be local to you? I know for me, If I wanted a workout buddy, there is a team for my region in California...check and see if there's one for your area maybe!

I HAVE to find people to work out with. Everyone I know is tied down with one responsibility or another and has no time to just get out and run. It's okay to go it alone, but I just prefer group activities. Anyone have any ideas on how I can go about finding running or workout partners?
