I agree to speak with your doctor and as well to the physio person.Once you can weight bear and you are able to start walk with your cane you feel so much better. I would imagine that you are walking with a cane by now or will be soon. If you have a full length mirror try walking in front on it as you will be able to tell if you are walking straight ....remember to hold your head up. I continued to do my physio exercises for some time and exercised both legs.(I had my right hip done as well in Sept.2011)Walking is the best exercise that you can do for your hip once you are given the "full weight bearing papers". Just remember to listen to your body and to the medical people treating you and do not over do it.
