LOGOULD, how long did you train for the half marathons you've done? The more I've read about this one, the more I want to do it. I went ahead and signed up tonight. I love the idea of a women's event and this year it falls on the anniversary of Title IX being signed after Kathryn Switzer was accosted in the the Boston Marathon. AND the charities sponsored are the American Heart Association (close to my own heart) and Go Red for Women. So, here goes....

I was thinking of choosing this half as my first on June 23. Last year was the inaugural event and I was wondering if anyone ran it? If so, thoughts on course, crowd, etc?

I've done a couple of Chicago 5Ks and a few were poorly organized with way too many people on the course while others were amazing.
