i had the shoes fitted at the running store and they don't pinch my toes and i don't think they're too small, but i did consider that first. regular shoes hurt my toenail, so i think the toe is the problem, not the shoes. since the shoes are almost new, is there something i can do in the meantime until i need to replace them? someone suggested duct tape, and i tried that and it came loose the first quarter-mile. ;-(
I would assume that your feet are slightly different in size which is very common so it might help to buy your shoes half a size bigger in the future to allow for this. Also try to find shoes that are wide enough in front that they don't squeeze your toes together but allow them to spread out. Having shoes that fit well should relieve the friction that causes the socks to wear through as well. Birgit
You can talk to God all you want and that's great, but the changes happen when you start listening to him.
i always get little holes in my shoe where my big toe is--only on the left. my toe turns up a little, so i'm assuming that's what's causing it? any suggestion for how to patch the hole? it's wearing out my socks too. thanks!
