I bought the print issue of the heat issue of runners world and learned a ton! I always take water or gatorade G2 with ice when my run will exceed 30 minutes, I always run at 5:30am, and I eat a Popsicle before running.
Even at 5:30am, heat index is between 82 and 90 here usually! I live in SE Texas near Houston.
