Hahaha! Yes. I work a lot, actually. Before my injury, I walked 45 minutes every day before work. The distance covered was unimportant. On Saturdays, I go for distance, going as long as it takes to reach the distance for that week.

I use Coolrunning.com to find races in my area. They do have a drop down menu of all states but I've never checked Texas. I have used it for other states I've gone to on vacation and have been pleased with the coverage. I also like when races post results.

Good luck!

I had a heavy season scheduled but injured myself in March. I'm having knee surgery next week to repair the meniscus and reconstruct the ACL. I doubt Ill be able to race again until 2012. emoticon

Thx. I'm shooting for first 20k in April '12. Don't really have any M plans now. It would probably be Spring '13. I want to run 20k in 120 to 130mins before I move forward on distance.
