We had a good bit of snow earlier. But then in changed to rain. I dont' think it is doing anything right now. When I got up around 7 am we had just about an inch of snow and then it started snowing real hard. I'd guess we ended up with 5 or 6 inches. At least we missed the sleet---so far.
Are you making any Christmas preparations? I made some peanut brittle today. Tried a new recipe. I think we both prefer the old recipe. So I'll go back to it. This recipe made a small amount anyway.
I still have decorations and cards to do. Haven't even started on that.
I hope everyone is staying warm. I'm not a foot ball fan but enjoyed watching Philly and Detroit play in that snow storm. I wonder how many cars won't beable to make it out of the parking lot. Good business for the wreckers and tow trucks.
DD came back to help dad put up the outside Christmas lights. They started yesterday but we had a shower that lingered so they had dto quit. DD left to go to Penneys ti see if she could find something for her to wear to her Home Depot Christmas Party. She's been on the committee to find a place for the party etc etc. Now I guess she's going to help the ladies with the gift shopping. All year they have money making lunches etc and then buy nice gifts for door prizes. I think a big screen TV is always one of the top prizes. She said Best Buy and Target were the stores they planned to go to. I was happy to see her get involved. Generally she is one to let other people do all the work. She tried to get her brother to go to the dinner with her but he said that wasn't his thing.
