Jan, no I got a butterfinger blizzard. The first 1/3 doesn't have much butterfinger, maybe it is all down at the bottom. We just finished the lemon fluff I made so that was enough lemon for this week. My favorite blizzard is mocha chip. But when I had a CT scan a while ago and the stuff I drank was mocha and that kinda killed my taste buds for mocha awhile.. I am not a coffee drinker but love coffee ice cream. Especially with hot fudge sauce on top. I don't like Hershey's syrup but do like JoAnna's chocolate sauce made with a chocolate cook and serve pudding.
Darn, I got salmon thawed to early for supper. When DH saw that he said he had planned to take me out for Mexican food. I'll just have to ask for a rain check.

DH went to a men's breakfast, I took DS grocery shopping. They are remodeling/expanding our store and parking is horrible. A huge section of the parking lot is being used for the expansion and is set up with fill material that has to settle over a period of months before they can build on it. We got there early enough to get a decent parking spot but when we left the parking lot was a zoo of shoppers looking for a spot. I think the other area stores are getting some of their business.
DH took me out for lunch at a great Mexican restaurant where they make everything fresh. Then we went to a couple of garage sales. We found some good books and I also got an Arthur Fiedler Christmas CD and two embroidery transfer patterns. I also got a bunch of about 10 branches with big red berries. I got them mainly for christmas but put them in a vase on the mantle and they'll just stay there for awhile.
Ann, Did you get the Lemon Meringue Pie Blizzard? I had some a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. Your plan to savour it over time is a good way to go.
It's only 64 but muggy today.

Everyone must be busy today. I did get a couple of extra hours of sleep that I missed yesterday.
Jan. DH got me a medium Blizzard and I only eat 1/3 of it at a time. It will last several days.
I thought it was going to heat up today but so far it is really nice in the low 70's. Lots of clouds out there too. Last night the sun set was so pretty.
We're just relaxing around the house. I have a load of towels in the washer and don't plan on doing much else. I'm not sure on what is for supper. Maybe grilled salmon on the Geo. Forman. I have some sweet potatoes and need to cook up some summer squash. The last squash I bought didn't get cooked and I had to throw it away. I don't like to waste food like that.
