Yes, I can imagine turning the heat on - ours comes on automatically many mornings for a short while. But it's weird it's been so hot where Patty and Glenna live and then cold. I'll bet it's a big relief!
Our youngest son is here for the weekend and we went to Cannon Beach today - first time in a long time. Lots and lots of tourists (including us) and hard to find a parking spot. Some things have changed but others remain the same and that's nice. There's a toy store that has been there for years but changed location called Gepetto's and an art gallery called White Bird and Bruce's Candy Kitchen (which I didn't go into). We had fun roaming around and looking at places. For lunch we stopped at the best pizza place on the coast (I think) and the guys had a (big) slice of pizza and I had a really great salad. I felt really good about making that choice instead of "oh well, let's have fun".
Don't forget Cedar Cove is on tonight.

Hi Patty, While we are confessing here, I turned the heat on for just a bit this morning too. Isn't it so odd? Last week I was roasting. Now it feels like fall. Wonder what next week will bring???? Such odd weather. And it changes so quickly.
I have been moving doing farm work. Building fence today. Also have some green beans on canning. 'Tis the canning season here.
We have been enjoying fresh cucumbers, summer squash, peppers, tomatoes, green beans, carrots, beets, cabbage and plenty of lettuce earlier. A regular feast!!!
Hope everyone is doing well today and enjoying the weekend. We had a couple showers today, but certainly not like the rain we had been having.
