I'm logging in again.
Jan sunglasses in the store wouldn't help me with the cataract. It is only the one aisle that I am bothered with. That aisle only has 1/2 the lighting the rest of the aisles have. It stocks the baked goods, canned fruits and vegetables, spices, etc. The rest of the aisles have full lightening.
Nina, I agree that Flagstaff has a lot of traffic. How nice of your friend to go with you and stay with you. We have only been through Flagstaff business area once. We were camped in Williams and four of us wanted to go to the Museum of Northern Arizona. If you have not been to that museum it is wonderful. The building itself it beautiful. After my surgery I was suppose to eat light for two weeks. No gassy food. Your honey will do just fine.
Judy, Judy, we're calling you to check in.

It's a beautiful day here. DH was driving so I've been in a big decluttering project. I need to uncover the bed before bedtime! Feeling good about reclaimed space.
Nina, It sounds like your honey is on the road to recovery and that's good. It's nice to have a clean house - don't you wish it would stay that way!
Ann, Would wearing sunglasses in the store help?
Patty, Hope you are having a good day and staying cool.

Been cleaning house and doing a lot of laundry. Getting the motor home ready I was neglecting other things. so I guess when I do get to go camping the house will be clean too :)
So glad I have Jo Anns recipes with my husbands gall bladder out. He is suppose to not eat fatty foods for at least 2 weeks. They said after that try things and see what bothers him and eliminate it from his diet. My oldest daughter cannot eat pizza out. When I go there I make her a vegetable pizza and we both eat it.
It might be a lot easier to diet now that hubby can't have so much fat.
Patty - sorry your arm is bruising! We decided to wait on the traveling and camping till he is recovered. We still have time and it actually may not be raining as the monsoons should be over by August. Also so glad your blood pressure was great.
Jan - hopes you enjoyed TOP's
Ann - sorry you have problems with your eyes from the lights in the store. Sounds like you had a better day at shopping today. Glad you found your ID. I have not driven the motor home, but hubby said it would be no different than the dually truck I use to drive a few years back. But I do not know my way around Flag Staff at all. A friend took me and stayed with me at the motel as she knows her way around.
You all have a great evening
Welcome Patty to my bruised arm club. I still have two black and blue marks from three weeks ago and I have lab work on Friday. I did learn something and from now on I'm asking them to use a baby needle or butterfly needle as my nurse friend says it is also called.
Jan, good luck at your TOPS meeting.
I ran some errands. this morning. First to Kohl's with a 20% off coupon and a $10.00 off coupon that was stuck on the morning paper. I think they should give everyone 50% off that can drive the maze of their parking lot. That shopping neighborhood mall is getting some new stores and what a mess. I got into one parking lane and the only way out was to back out. I did find what I was looking for. Vanity Fair panties. I got 6 pair for a total of $18.00 and change. I can not believe how sheer some of the knit tops are now. Great for layering I guess.
Then when I went to pay I about had a panic attack. My military I D card was now where it was suppose to be. I had it yesterday when I went in the base gate and try to toss it back in my purse or else it can get misplaced on my seat or the passenger seat. That has happened before.
Second stop was the ATM to make a deposit and when I pulled out my debit card there was my I D card behind it. Whew. One more stop at WalMart to return the wrong mg. of Vit C I got yesterday. Now I'm home for the day.
I hope Judy checks in soon.

I'm off to TOPS this morning.
Patty, That was a great doctor's visit report. Good for you!
Ann, Thank you for the advice on using ice on my shoulder - it helps!
