I spent the day cleaning bathroom, making beds, working in the motor home, doing dishes, doing laundry, and moping the kitchen floor.
My oldest daughter was suppose to testify on the phone, but my daughter and her husband decided to come so they could come and go with my son to support him. The Son-in-law had gone through a divorce years ago and has raised his son and knows how my son feels and what he is up against. SO WANTED THE HOUSE CLEAN:)
I will take care of my grand daughter while they are in court. That will keep me distracted and my husband and son did not want me to go. They know I am sensitive and I guess they want to protect me.
Patty-that is really cold weather. We are having warm weather with wind. Hope it warms up for you soon.
Louise-I bet once you got your husband to go he would end up liking it. Hubby and I should check out the Senior center here. We have had just too much going on in our lives right now.
Jan- so glad they did not find any glaucoma.
Ann-the kids want to be with both of them of course. The boys really want to be with their dad, especially the oldest. My son has asked for 50/50 time but she would have to come back here. Otherwise his lawyer will try and get him 50/50 if he has to move to Oregon. He is hoping the judge will go for here, as the person that gave the kids the test was the Superintendent of Schools for our area and she knows what he needs to do and will help him do it. She is coming to testify. She canceled 3 meetings that day to come. She wants the kids in school. My son also knows the best school districts here too. I am sure all that can be worked out if he has to move. We are praying for the Lord's will for the kids and all of us.
I am hoping I can get back to counting my food and doing what I am suppose to do. It takes a lot of planning for me with the diabetes and IC bladder food problems. Hopefully when we know what is happening I can get with it. I know you will all support me. I cannot afford to buy bigger clothes and my larger sizes are getting tight.
Will babysit my grand daughter that is coming, that will keep me distracted. Not to mention will be fun.
CHECK OUT MY SPARKPAGE-with more motor home pictures and what I have done.
Good Afternoon, I got some errands done this morning. Stopped at bank ATM to deposit a check, Target to get a gift card for GS 1/2 sister that graduates from high school next week. She hopes to go to Boise State Univ. but it depends if her dad filed his tax returns by the end of May for her to get a scholarship. (I wouldn't bet on that, he is sell employeed) Next door to Target is Party City and I got graduations cards, then to produce store for grapes and a wholesale store for blueberries and home.
Last night DH and I got our Mexican food fix. On the way home he stopped at a garden center to look at lemon trees. The one he had planted was dying and he took it back to Home Depot. Man, he is as poky looking at trees as it is in all the other stores. Back driving home I asked if they had a buy back program like Home Depot does. He forgot to ask. Home Depot is $30.00 cheaper for the same size tree. He's still thinking about it.
Nina, we will be interested to hear how your son does at court. I hope he has a fair judge. Do the kids want to live with their dad?
Louise, we have a senior center not far away and I'm sure they must have some good programs but DH and I just haven't gotten the bug to check them out. I know two close by community centers have bridge each a different day of the week. I've often said we should look into that too.
My ladies bridge group is starting up this Wed. I'm very happy about that. Not easy finding enough players for two tables. I hope we can keep it going and that is isn't on my chemo weeks. We lost two players and two other players mothers passed away and one of those had a husband with two sugeries since Dec.
I had an early eye doctor appointment and I'm still waiting for my eyes to get back to normal. She had a suspicion of glaucoma starting last year and nothing has changed so I don't go back for another year. Had a field vision test and pictures taken of my eyeballs. Just as I was going in to the exam room a friend and her husband came in. Bruce got to visit with them and found out our TOPS weight recorder was in the hospital so we went to visit her. She thought she had sciatica real bad but turned out to be gout. She looked good and in good spirits and expects to come home today.
It was cloudy this morning but the sun has come out. I'd like to go finish weeding the side flower bed but not sure how that will go with my eyes.
Patty, We use our natural gas heat throughout out the summer - usually just first thing in the morning.
Louise, That would be interesting to see what classes your senior center offers. The one in my town does various things - takes a bus once a week to the grocery store for those who need it, has computers, pool, and there's an exercise class and a line dancing one.
I did horribly yesterday. The only yes was drinking my water.

Patty, you are getting some strange weather for June! Of course, we started getting the heat early so the weather is weird here also!
Had a busy day yesterday. Not sure what we are going to be doing today. I kind of want to get DH to come with me to the Senior Center in our city. We have not been and they offer a lot of classes and exercise classes. I do not care about eating the lunches there as they probably do not have anything vegan or vegetarian. However, I think it would be fun to meet new people and do some activities. Now If I can only get DH to go!
Move--Yes!!! I danced. Then I did chair exercises.
Good morning Girls, It is 39 out right now...it is cold upstairs. I hope hubby has a fire going downstairs. High of 59, so another day of wood heat...lol such silly weather...must be global warming...lol
Yesterday I made the pumpkin muffins in the fresh from the hearth coobook. Those are always so good.
