Good Morning. Up and out early. DH wanted to take the motor home into the shop that works on engines and transmissions. The big baby doesn't have any power. He wanted to go in the afternoon and I told him there would be less traffic before lunch time. This area has many many big rig storage headquarters and pick up areas. Lucky the shop is only about 2 - 3 miles from the storage area where we keep the motor home. I followed in the car but DH didn't have any problem but was driving slow with the flasher lights on.
So far it seems much cooler today. The last couple of days have been miserable. Much too early for that heat. May is suppose to be gloomy but it sure hasn't been this time.
Louise, what fun if your DD gets the part in the play.
Tonight is going to be taco salad. I've been hungry for that.
I've been sitting here trying to decide how much to lower the price of my mothers house in Ma. I see on the realtors web site, everything he has listed is under $200,000. He said he'd only had three showings in the last 90 days. Told me maybe I could rent it but I'm not interested in that. I had one chance to rent it before but turned it down. Even the neighbor agreed with me that wasn't a good idea. It would be different if we lived closer to keep a check on the place.

Good morning everyone, oops I guess it is afternoon now,
I spent the morning copying recipes from the Real Simple page. I now have a list of the thirty healthiest foods with accompanying recipes. And a series recipes for Vegetable Side Dishes from the same source. Some of the recipes are Diabetic friendly, but some are definitely not, those have as high as 110 carbs per serving. Oh my goodness, I have never realized how unfriendly some of the dishes I prepared were. No wonder I am losing weight steadily.
I have no plans for the day. It is sunny outside, but chilly. I may put on a jacket and take Gidget over to the campground. It still isn't open to the public. I think I hear a wood chipper over there. I wish they wouldn't do that with all the windfall wood. Children like to gather that wood for campfires.
I need to go fix some "breakfast" I took my pills more than half an hour ago so now I can eat.
See you all later.
It is going to be 103 degrees and sunny!
This morning is Bible Study at my home. We are studying Max Lucado's Life Lessons on the Book of James. It makes one think!
Tomorrow our church's Ladies Bible Study start up again for four weeks. I signed up for a study called "Prayer: Raw Requests and Reverence". It should be interesting.
DD tried out for a role in "Hair Spray" at one of the local theatre's we have here in Arizona. She will know today if she gets a call back or not. She is fine either way--if they call her or if not. She is working part-time this summer. So it would be nice if she gets into the play.
Well, I got to get things ready for the Bible Study.
Everyone, Please Have A Wonderful Tuesday!
Good morning Patty and all who join us today,
It's cloudy this morning but maybe 60 today - so comfortable.
Our backyard and some of the front yard is covered with cherry blossoms from the neighbor's tree. Somehow each year when the blossoms are ready to drop we have winds that send them even over the top of our house - looking like snow flakes. More and more irises in bloom this morning.
Nowhere I have to be today so I'm hoping to get things done in the house and a walk outside since it's nice out there.
Patty, it sounds like you are over that cold snap at least for now.
water - yes
