Good morning, friends! It is a rainy, grey day here in Omaha . I hope the mornig light finds you all well rested and in good spirits. It has been a while since I've been here, but the bipolar fog is finally lifting and exercise and good nutrition are vital to keeping it that way so I am back to tracking.
Things have been very busy: I began a new PT job as an activities asst. at a local nursing home 3 weeks ago and that gives me a built-in workout! Out of a 7 hour shift, I'm moving for 6. On non-working days, I do my strength training, yoga or if it nice outside, I do a photowalk. It feels good to be moving.
On the agenda for today: a trip to the botanical gardens to see the Lego sculptures (all botanical sculptures) and then home to straighten the mess that is my art studio and prepare for another show in 2 weeks, do some art, writing some articles for blog submissions, study for my tort law final and hopefully, do some zentangle art in the evening.
On the menu: Czech meatballs over zucchini noodles, roasted asparagus, fresh pineapple and some gluten-free apple muffins.
