Hello everyone,

Have you figured up your monthly bills and found yourself one hundred dollars short. That is me for May. I'll have to shuffle some things around so that I can give everyone some money. I got a notice this morning that I owe my medical caregiver money and I hadn't counted on that. This is the first time that has happened since I stated seeing the doctor on a monthly basis. I have Cellulitus and if I get a penicillin shot once a month I don't have flair-ups. I am going to have to cut those visits back because I can't afford the payment that is no longer being paid by medicare and medicaid. I have had to reschedule several times in order to get my appointments on the same day. I almost had it worked out, but no go. I'll have to wait until July for some things. Bummer! I didn't want that colonoscopy anyway.

Gloria and I went for a walk today. The campground is so quiet right now. They have been cleaning up over there so I am sure it will be opening up fairly soon. I imagine Memorial Day Weekend. I really enjoy the park when there is no-one else there. It is so pretty and peaceful.

We also cleaned out one bookcase and part of another. I have several chairs to get rid of. Three recliners and one wicker. My cats loved the wicker chair. They sharpened their claws on it.

Today I put on a pair of 1X pants and they fit perfectly. I had no trouble getting them on and they are comfortable. The weight is still coming off, albeit slowly. I also put on a 3X blouse that was my mother's, I am swimming in it. Now I am down in the less expensive clothing. I am very excited about that. I still have one hundred three pounds to get where I want to be and I am making progress in that direction.

I looked at a picture of my older daughter and her son and she, who was always slim has put on bunches of weight. I can't believe it. I hope she can get motivated to get rid of that extra weight before she develops physical problems caused by overweight.

I did another variation on Chef Meg's Buffalo Chicken Macaroni and Cheese. Still no cheese, but this time I added not only dark red kidney beans, but a can of whole kernel corn. I also used Sloppy Joe sauce because I don't have any tomatoes Yum!!!

I am thinking that tonight I'll get some imitation crab out of the freezer and make a nice salad. I have some spinach and some peppers. I don't know what else my cupboards have to offer, but I'll find something. Keeping balance in my diet is getting increasingly difficult. Only one week more till I can go shopping.
