Good Afternoon All. I've been glued to the TV and knitting. So much going on back in Boston. I am a news junkie. DH went to take the motor home on a drive since it has been sitting for several miles. Well he didn't get very far as could not get the engine up to speed. I think this has happened before. Sounds like back in the shop. Now do we put it in the shop now or wait until we want to go somewhere. Right now we aren't going far with my medicall app't.
Have any of you heard about burying a statue of St. Joseph in the ground by a house that you are trying to sell. I heard about this from several sources that once you do this it brings good luck and the property sells real fast. I'm about ready to do anything to get my mothers house sold. (except to remodel the whole house) One lady said after a year they took their house off the market and then a year later put it back on. Once they buried St. Joseph it sold in two weeks. I guess it couldn't hurt to ask the young man that cuts the grass to do this if I send him a statue.
Ann in San Diego
Patty - that is sure a lot of work. I think you got in your exercise for the day.
Did some laundry, went to Safeway and got some fresh vegetables . I like the Just4U specials on line. Do any of you know about this program? They track what you buy and give you sales on it just4U. We also got some chicken and some frozen vegetables too. Came home made lunch.
Now the lawyer said we do not have to move, we can stay here until the lease is up. So I unpacked boxes I had packed. Today I have to put my scrapbook, card making cabinet back together. That should get us through the trial and then know what to do.
Have a pork tenderloin in the crock pot. I may have fish and give the guys the pork.
Need to make some muffins for snack from Jo's recipes too.
I have gained weight-although I do not know how much. Can not find my scales .
Son wants to do a yard sale, so I want to go through all my boxes in garage and get rid of stuff. What I do not sale will give to the church as they are having one on the holiday.
We still want to travel when son gets his affairs figured out. We will have to save for a better truck and trailer, but we should have some time to do that.
Well better go get started. Chat later
Good morning Girls,
No Judy, no snow. In fact, temps in the 70's and quite humid already...mercy, I don't have time to acclimate my body ...lol
lunch at senior center
knitting group after
yesterday, I did some shoveling and raking. Today more shoveling and raking. Getting the dirt piles from the snow plow,(while the ground is still not frozen, but needing to move the snow) raking them back into the driveway. I move a big pile yesterday and put it in the wheelbarrow. Today I will put it into the driveway. Usually hubby does it, but his sciatica is acting up and inflamed again, from the raking, so I will finish. Thankfully, not much else to do.
I am about 4/5 done with my shawl. Pics of my sis's shawl on my blog.
I started a baby sweater yesterday in the car on the way to town. A pretty peach color. This is a short sleeve sweater with short pants...diaper cover pants...sounds cute yes?
I want to start that capelet too. But I will not until I finish my shawl. Hopefully today.
It was fun making sis' shawl, but making the same thing twice in a row, not so much...lol
Have a good day girls.
Did you move yesterday?
yes, walking in stores, goodwill, and Sams.
shoveling and raking last night.
did you drink your water?
not all of it
did you stick to your lifestyle food plan?
Let's make today a healthy day.
Well, no one showed up for knitting group, so I will knit here at home on my own. much more comfortable...
It is 75 and humid out. I am sweating. I moved all that dirt that was in the wheelbarrow. It only took me about 10 minutes, but it was hard work, and I think that is all the moving I am doing today...lol
