Good Evening all

Judy I guess if you want to know when the last frost is you have to read the Farmers Almanac. emoticon Your daughters thoughts were lovely. I also felt sorry for those that ran and never were able to get to the finish line.

A lazy day here and our Anniversary. I had to make a trip to the doctor office for a shot to keep the white blood cells up. They were busy. All 6 chemo chairs were full. Yesterday there was at least two available while I was there and noticed all were seniors. Today five of the patients were seniors.

The rest of my day has been reading. DH did pick up a Pizza at Costco for supper from the patio food court. Not as good as the ones inside that you have to cook yourself, but I didn't have to cook as I wasn't in the mood.

Good afternoon,

So far this has been a good day. I am still working on my sourdough pancakes. I have a batch of sourdough working and have taken some out to make pancakes. I fed that portion last night but forgot about having to add to it this morning. I cooked up some pancakes without adding and they were awfully bitter. Then I added some baking mix, two tablespoons of sugar, 1 egg and a quarter cup of oil. When I baked those up the flavor was excellent, the texture was very fine and I was very happy with them. Now for the next step. Adding whole wheat flour to the mix.

I skipped TOPS this morning, I was very low on gasoline and must make this tank last. I have to take Gidget to be groomed on Friday and that will use some of my gas. I may also have to drive into Eatonville with prescriptions. I am very nervous about the gasoline situation. I hope next month I can stretch it better.

It was sunny when I got up, but then there was a thin layer of clouds obscuring the son. Now the blanket of clouds is getting pretty thick and it is getting darker outside. I think we may have some weather coming.

No sprouts on my peas yet. Next planting will be nasturtiums. Their package says to plant them two weeks before the last frost. That doesn't make sense to me. How are we to know when will be the last frost?

While I'm pondering that last question I am going to find something positive to put on that thread.

Love, Judy emoticon emoticon
