Patty, think that was wise not to bring the little girl over. You need your rest and she doesn't need to get your bug.
My family went together and bought me a 46 inch HG TV for my birthday. That was quite a surprise. #2DS has been after me to get an HG TV and I keep telling him the one he gave me that was his old one worked just fine. That TV weighed 350 lbs and the stand it sat on weighed at least 100 lbs. So now I am with the newer generation. He couldn't get the DVD connected to it but DH did after DS went hom.
We didn't go out to eat but will another day. I'm still plugged up.

I'm the first one up, coffee is made and all is quiet. I've got an old TCM Perry Mason movie on - not Raymond Burr and it's got a touch of humor. I like the Perry Mason character in this. No plans today - wait and see.
I'm not feeling great since last night. I wrote down what I planned to eat today but there's no way unless I start to feel better. I remembered in Diabetes Ed classes they encourage you to set aside some sick day foods/drinks and that will work.
Got the computer room set up so I can do some exercise DVDs. I did the Leslie Sansone fast 2 mile walk but discovered the hip bursitis is still there so I just walk when they are doing kick backs.
Patty, I hope you have a good day with DGD and feel better. Is this the new baby or an older child?
Louise, I'm glad you are feeling better and able to get out and about today. Let us know what you see if you go o Chandler.

Good Morning Patty and all who will follow! Patty, Thank You for praying for me, I feel much better!
This is the first morning I exercised since I have not been feeling well. I did the Leslie Sansone's 1 Mile Walk The Walk DVD. I sweated a lot but now I feel great and ready for the day!
I am not sure what I am going to be doing today. Maybe I can get DH to go with me to downtown Chandler and walk around the area. They usually have things going on down the center on Saturdays and it would be fun to see what they have.
Good morning Girls, I am feeling better today. Really tired out, and my blood sugar is out of whack for not eating much yesterday. I had a small banana and a bowl of shredded mini wheats. That is it...

I need to start moving again. It has been too long. I think I have slight depression because of not moving...need to start that again. Not today probably. DGD will keep me busy. I get tired just thinking about it...lol
Judy, I have made yogurt in the crock pot. Easy peasy to do. Check out Joyful Christian Homemaking. Scroll all the way down, and check recipes on the left. You will find the recipe there. This is the one I have used. Just a heads up. I do not follow her for her biblical attitudes, just her housecleaning and some recipes. I do not read her bible study posts. Check out the left of the screen, and scroll down to recipes. Click on yogurt...There you go. It works every time.
Got up and knitted in the morning quiet for a bit, thinking about what I read in the bible this morning. A nice way to wake up. Bible, knitting, thinking and coffee...
