It is late now and I am still running. Today was food bank day. We had many new people so what used to take half an hour now takes one and a half hours at the least. There was plenty of food for everyone. I was glad there were no donuts, cookies or other sweets today. Lots of really good food though.
Tomorrow I am taking a care package to a friend and then I have to stop at both the drug store and the grocery in Eatonville. At least at the latter I can get the things that are already on my list and they are on sale.
It occurred to me that we aren't being efficient with our freezers. Instead of having to rotate our food from down to up, we should be rotating from side to side. We are going to have to clean out our freezer soon and when we put things back I will do the side to side business. I'll let you know how it works out.
Will pray for the DB that broke his leg. Hope the TOPs group will continue.
Had the days to myself and I needed a side table to my chair. Can not afford anything this month, so I took a large storage bin and a under the bed bin. I put one on top of the other and put a nice cloth on top and now I have an end table I can sit things on. Then I studied my Bible for a while. Then I watched HGTV and enjoyed watching all the things they did and the houses people choose. Then I made fajitas. Made the men beef ones and I made me 2 shrimp ones with high fiber, low carb tortillas. Nina

Patty, I'm sorry to hear about your brother breaking his leg and the no insurance part is no fun. Glad your cousins were not seriously hurt in the car accident.
Ann, TOPS populations vary over time. There are always people who join and then don't show up for months on end. At years end their weight loss or lack of loss shows up on our records. So there are a few whose memberships have lapsed. One lady was exhibiting pretty bad memory problems, another another would tell us she was dreadfully sick and then we'd see her out to lunch with someone. Stuff like that. We had elections and now have new officers stepping into their roles first meeting in April. The new leader has been very committed and involved in TOPS and is a great example- losing 84 lb. and keeping it off for a couple of years. I just hope the invariable "pills" don't make her life miserable. I am glad that if there's a lot of nonsense going on I can just go home. I'm visualizing you walking around in baggy pants.
Sorry to hear about your DB broken leg. I was on crutches once for only a couple of days when I had surgery to fix a heel spur. No fun at all. Now I always hold the door for any one coming through when on crutches. I hope your brother is a fast healer.
Jan, how has your TOPS group doing since you are no longer in charge. Has the attendance stayed the same or changed. I know you're relieved not to have that job any more.
This has been a stay at home day. I took some more slacks out of the closet that are way too big. I hardly have any slacks that fit. I plan to go to Penney's tomorrow after my hearing test. I hope I find something I like that fit. I don't mind oversized blouses but when the pants are too big it is hard to keep them up. Yes,, they are that bad.
Knitting group yesterday after lunch. what fun, there are 4 of us now.
Today took 87 year old cousin to the store. I was ill last week, and we did not go. Found out today, that cousin and 56 year old cousin were in an auto accident almost 2 weeks ago...mercy, that would be scary. Just seat belt problems on their bodies...I think cousin has a cracked rib, as it still hurts there for her...
My brother broke his leg. Did I already tell you this? Can't remember. If I did, just skip this paragraph...lol Tuesday, he slipped on the ice, and broke his leg. He went to hospital in an ambulance, had surgery and came home the same day. NO insurance...He had plates put into his leg, and he will need another surgery to have them taken out later...no insurance...poor brother. He is the one with the fruit farm, and lost all his cherries last year...what a mess for him. Sis is coming down on MOnday, and we will go visit with him, as he can't get out of the house. He is on crutches, but he is having a hard time, cause he is quite heavy. He can't get a cast on it yet, because of swelling...
ok, nothing else to report. I am a fairly boring lady... I did start another sweater yesterday. A kids T top quidepost sweater...a cute pattern...
NO new pics...I think I am in a slump, not much inclination to do anything.
Ice and mud in the driveway. Lots of snow still. Later this week, when?, 5 or more inches again. We already got that. We do not need it again...lol
Stocked up on meat today. A great meat sale. I spent over $100, but got a lot of meat. We had to reorganize the freezer again, to put the new meat on the bottom, and the older meat on top...you know the drill...
