I've had a very busy day today. It didn't seem so during the day, but in retrospect I can see I did a lot. I first got up at seven this morning after another night of little sleep. I am getting tired! Tired of this problem with sleep. I think I should probably book an appointment with a sleep specialist. Part of my problem may be that my mask doesn't fit properly. I may need a different size or type of mask. This isn't the first time I've had such problems.
The day was sunny and just plain beautiful. It was a bit brisk, we had a wind from the east. In the summer an east wind brings drying conditions and heat. We call it a fire wind because there is a definite rise in grass and forest fires when there is an east wind. During the winter an east wind is still dry, but devastatingly sharp and cold. I didn't mind it today, but my caregiver was really chilled just walking out to the car.
We went in to pick up some of my prescriptions and then I showed her how to take the short way to get to her next client. She was going at least sixty miles out of her way just to get there. That doesn't count getting back. I hadn't driven the route for several years and someone has dropped in four round-a-bouts and some medians with plantings. Those things made me question my memory, but I made it to where we were going with no trouble and no backtracks either.
We got home considerably later than we had planned, but I think she made it to her next client on time. I have been busy since she left paying bills and answering my snail mail. Now I can concentrate on talking with you. Tomorrow I will be taking my friend to the doctor again. That is convenient because I have several new books on the foods that the native American Indians ate prior to the European influence. He is Blackfoot. I like to share his heritage. He has a wealth of information about his tribal heritage.
I keep losing this post so I am going to give up for the evening.
See you all tomorrow.
