Today, I made or will make:
Basic vegetable soup, page 55.
I put it in the crockpot on high, cause I just made it. Will turn it down around 4, to low.
I also used a quart of home canned tomatoes to replace the two , 16 ounce cans of tomatoes
Mexicalli pie, page 150
Not sure if I have corn chips. If not, it will still be good.
Fruit Cocktail chiffon pie, page 199
Applesauce Oatmeal Muffins, page 225
These recipes should last 2 or 3 days.
Not sure what I will make after that. I do see quite a lot of recipes that I want to try out, but I need ingredients for them.
Should be a good supper.
If I didn't have fruit in the dessert, I would make a fruit salad also. But since it is in the pie, I don't have to.
ok, let's see who else will do this with me.
We used to do this each month, using a different cookbook. It kind of went by the wayside. Let's see if we can get this started again. Or am I the only one that wants to do this. If so, that is fine too.
