It sounds like everyone is having a good day.

It was so beautiful here today - sunshine and blue skies and low 50s. I met with a friend for a good visit. Then after lunch DH and I walked for an hour. It was cooler down by the river with wind. Tomorrow the rain is back. Where I live, if he sun shines get out there fast and enjoy it because you don't know when it will be back!

I've been digging in my closet to see what fits. Some of my usual favorites are getting pretty loose. Over time I've opimistically gotten some things that were too snug to wear so it's fun to find out they fit just fine now.

I got my laptop back tonight - lost everything on it so I'm creating Favorites all over again.

Nina, the used book web site that I really like is abebooks.com. They have many many sellers and I've had excellent luck with all the books I've ordered from them. I have never paid more than $5.00 a book and that includes shipping. They've been very prompt with delivery too. Most of the books I've ordered were stated in 'good' condition and have that or even better.

I'm lazy today so have been reading. Better than a doctor app't. Yesterday for the first time in three weeks I did 1 mile with Leslie and did again this morning. Probably don't put as much ump into it but do get through it.

Supper is going to be mac and cheese from Cooking across America or something like that. I will add some cut up ham.

emoticon emoticon DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE USED BOOK SITE THAT DOES NOT CHARGE TOO MUCH FOR BOOKS. I had it in my documents in one of my computers-but have a new one because the others crashed.

Good morning Girls,
Oh my, Friday already...

We had such a busy day yesterday.
lunch at senior center
then pick up 87 year old cousin, and go to the store for coffee and visiting. She is so nice. Started snowing big heavy snow on the way there.
While there, I got a phone call that someone from the senior center was in the hospital.
So when I got home, hubby and I went to town to see her.

The weather was terrible. Hazardous driving conditions. But we braved it anyway.
We missed seeing 2 people because of various things, and they died, and we never got to see them, and pray with them. We feel really bad about that. So we decided, never again.

We made it home before dark, safely. Thankfully

lunch today at senior center.

Let's see. yarnwise, what am I working on. I know you are all on pins and needles waiting for me to tell you.
I finished 2 hats, loom knitted, and 2 crocheted dishcloths. Not too much. Started a new dishcloth this morning.
How was yesterday?

did you move?
no, only a bit of walking in the hospital

did you drink your water?
no, was gone all afternoon, so couldn't

did you stick to your lifestyle food plan?
no, no excuses

Let's make today a healthy day.
Patty
