It was a bit rainy this morning and cloudy all day. We were able to get out for an hour walk this afternoon.
Patty, the ponchos are so soft and pretty.
Glenna, You are busy most of the time but so much more now. Everyone is good in your care.
Ann, I wore glasses for decades and then the last 15 years didn't need them until about a year ago got reading glasses. Didn't need them much at first but nowadays I'm putting them on and off and on again. I use them when using the laptop and at the store reading labels or even at home trying to read carb counts on things. Think I'm headed for bifocals again.
Nina, You really got all of us remembering the old fashioned cabinets.
Good Afternoon all. Sunny and cloudy. We had rain during the night and it is a cold 53 degrees.. The heater will be running all day.
The dough cabinet you ladies are talking about, sounds like one my grandmother had. I remember the shelves of jars and the place for the flour with a built in sifter and a suger space. Wonder what ever happened to it.
Jan, congrats on the great chol. numbers. You know you're doing something right.
I've been doing some reading. One of my books has larger print that I can read with my computer glasses. Glad I have an eye app't on Wed.
Not much going on here. I think the weather is clear enough for GS to play baseball this afternoon. I'm sure DH will go. It will be good for him to get out of the house. I'll stay home.
Nina, that's a beautiful cabinet. Not what I remember from grandma's house. You've done a great job refinishing it. I know you will enjoy it.

Your poncho turned out very nice. I am sure someone in a rest home will enjoy it. Should keep arms and shoulders warm!
We have sunshine today, too. We only got an inch or so of snow. We were fortunate.
I haven't talked to Sarah for a few days. Last time I talked with her, she was sounding stronger.
I have been quite busy since dh fell and dislocated his shoulder and also had a break in it. I have been taking care of all the chores now. Also mom had some problems with her water not wanting to run into the house. Thankfully was able to resolve that. It has been busy and hectic!
Dh is improving each day. At first he could not even fasten his clothes or anything. Now he can do that. He has always fed himself. With his left hand at first. Now he can use his right some. Still needs help with some things. Has another dr apt on Feb. 21. He has one of those bands that goes around the stomach and fastens down your arm in two places. For at least six weeks the dr says.
Just wanted to say hi. I don't think I have been on here in forever.
