watching the game and have company-you all have a good day
Whew, I am caught up reading the posts. I didn't know DH went into so much details on my surgery.
Yes, please post Sarah's address and phone number again. I don't remember where I put it.
Nina, a full moon. That is probably why I also had trouble sleeping. Last night I took a Bendryl and slept so good. I've heard also that the black bean brownies are really good. I saw a recipe somewhere for gluten free ones and I offered to make for DD but she turned her nose up. Garlic - one of the Oriental nurses must like garlic. Phew
Patty, I didn't know they still had Ben Franklin stores. What a bonanza of yarn you got. I know your friend was happy to give it a home where it will benefit others. One of the nurses indicated to me they would love some of my caps in the oncology dept. Dear Friend, you must eat breakfast. I read a few days ago that eating breakfast cause more weight loss than not eating breakfast. I'm not big on breakfast either but do eat it about 9:30 a.m. Sane article also said eating at the same time every day for all your meals was the best too. I had chilly arms and shoulders in the hospital and put a pillow case over them. My only hospital complaint was the too hot or too cold room. Each room could be adjusted from the main plant but still wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked it.
I still have some spots on my blatter that the Dr. hopes more chemo will take care of. Waiting on the tumor lab reports. It was sent off to somewhere.
Paulissa, the first time I saw those knee scooters I thought what a great invention. The inventor sure made many people happy.
Jan, I need a hair shaping too. Not a cut, just shaping. I'll call for an app't in another week. Our paper today had a real interesting story about Sol Price (AKA Costco founder) My boys worked for him when it was called FedMart. The Costco we go to is the original Price Club. One of Sol's sons has a book out on his dad. #1DS said today he remembers getting called to Mr. Price's office after another employee clobbed him.
Glenna, I hope your DH doesn't have to have surgery. Ice is so bad.
Whew, now I'm tired.
Thank you all for your prayers. We have such a wonderful group and every one cares about the other. I love you all.

Does anyone have Sarah's new phone # and address?
the ponchos are for the nursing home. The ladies there are chilly, especially their shoulders and arms. So thought these would be good for them there.
I had another one 1/3 done, and had to take it out. I forgot to do the garter stitch on each edge, to give it more body...I hate having to rip out.
Good morning ladies,
It's not raining but it's a bit cloudier this morning. We've had some super weather making me hope that ol' groundhog was right. We've gotten a lot of outdoor walks in with this good weather.
I was up at 4 AM reading for awhile but I know what that was about - had some caffeinated pop last night.
Patty, the ponchos are for little girls aren't they?
Ann, It's so good to hear you are doing well in your recovery from the surgery. I guess 2X PJs would be swimming on a 133 lb. person! I haven't seen that number for decades on my scale.
Nina, I've made those black bean brownies and no one can guess what's in them. Easy to make, too. The fiber from the beans gives them a healthier nutritional count.
Judy, I love that movie - have a CD with the music. You'll have to let us know what you did with the squash.
I hope everyone has a super day.

Good morning Girls,
It is snowing again, and 16 degrees. brrr
I finished my poncho yesterday. Turned out really cute. I am making 2 more. Another with the green yarn, and a blue chunky yarn.
Will get pics later.
I slept well last night...yay
How was yesterday?
did you move?
did you drink your water?
did you stick to your lifestyle food plan?
Let's make today a healthy day.
