This was a TOPS day so I was gone all morning into the afternoon. I lost 1/2 lb. Had lunch with TOPS friends (big salad with grilled chicken) and then did some grocery shopping.
Nina, I loved the Mitford series and it's been long ago enough that I could read it all over again. I had a hamburger today, too, but at home.
Tomorrow morning DH and I go to our final Diabetes Education class.
Glenna really has her hands full right now so if anyone else is able to call Sarah that would help.

Hubby and I went out today to get my prescriptions. We also went to lunch at Wendys and had a hamburger (not on diet). It was good and I was kind of down and it cheered me up to get out and go to lunch. Then we went to the Library and I got the 1st in the Mitford series.
Came home and made a lemon meringue pie from scratch. Made it in the micro. Also not on my diet list. I am still looking for a low-sugar one. I had a really good recipe but have not found it yet.
We got about 3 inches of snow yesterday, but some of it melted today and they came and cleared the snow off. Reason we decided to go to town today.
Just saw the full moon tonight.

Ann it was so good to hear from you. I am so glad you are recovering well. I hope they got all of the cancer and you can be free again. Cancer is so confining.
Sarah, we are waiting to hear from you. I hope Glenna is still calling you regularly.
Patty and all, I am trying. I have been doing more housework since I don't have a caregiver. It is hard, but I am managing for the moment. I get worn out easily, but that doesn't mean I'm going to quit. I have some beans on the stove soaking. I will try tomorrow to get my crockpot out and make something with those beans. I got some chicken breasts out to use for dinner tonight. I am not sure how I will use them. I am thinking a chicken stir-fry. That sounds good to me.

staying home. I am just tired out.
