The trip to Centralia was a total success. My friend picked up her paycheck and I went to the Corning outlet store and found the things I had intended to buy on sale. I saved $35.00 on the things I intended to buy anyway. That was great because my total tab came to just over forty dollars and I added a couple of extras to my purchase. I am stoked, (as my son would say) My friend had other errands to run but she will come over later and bring my purchases in the house.
I hope your day goes as well as mine.
Ann, I have added your name to the prayer list at my friends church. Sarah I added your too!
It is a sunny day here and finally warming up a bit. I got the knee scooter Thursday evening so I don't have to mess with crutches, but I'm not sure how to track it for exercise since propelling it can be hard work lol! Kind of fun riding it through the aisles, though.
Today I have some images to shoot for my mentorship, research to do for family law and my photography class and then plan out the shots for my next two assignments. Busy times.
Ann and Sarah, I'm thinking of both of you.
Patty, sounds like a lot of calorie burning.
Judy, sounds like a nice day out with friends.
This life is a hero's journey. Anyone who sticks it out and gives it their best shot is heroic, in my estimation. What we call normal is so often extraordinary. Just overcoming the weight of the world, and making a genuine effort to identify and honor our true-path is profound. Kudos to anyone who is making a genuine effort to get through this life with originality, awareness and authenticity. ~Jeff Brown
Yesterday was a good and bad day. I had fun taking my friends to his doctor's appointment. I took a wrong turn after the appointment and we didn't get to where I wanted to be. His wife knew where we were and directed me to where I could get on the freeway to go north.
My ultimate goal was a particular gas station and the Uwajimaya in Renton. We got to both places with no further problems. They had never been to Uwajimaya so it was a real treat for them. I got some red bean ice cream for each of us. But that wasn't the end of my indulgence.
I also got some Chocolate Truffles and some rice crackers. I didn't keep track of what I was eating after I dropped them off at their home. I know that I ate several of each. However, I got a real surprise this morning. My BS reading was only 100. Today I will start fresh and count every bite.
There was one consolation I walked all the way through the store and only skipped one aisle. I did have my cart upon which I leaned when I needed support. That is the longest I've walked in a very long time. I will try to walk more today. I think I can find a supermarket in Centralia and there is a Outlet mall there. I can get a couple of the glass bake ware that I am missing. That would be a big help for me in my kitchen.
I'll probably check back here this afternoon when I get home. I am thinking good thoughts for Ann and Sarah. Many prayers are being sent for their quick and complete recovery. I hope you find your yarn. If you don't I know you can figure something out so the sweater will be lovely.

Good morning Girls, Let's all remember Ann today. Nina, she is having surgery for cancer in her ovaries I believe. She has been on chemo, like a long time. Surgery today.
Glenna, how is Sarah doing?
Hubby came home and wasn't as surprised as I thought he would be. He knew that I would do some shoveling, just not all of it. As soon as he got home, he went from the car to the truck, to start plowing. the snow was deep and heavy, and it took a bit longer to plow because of that.
There is more snow today, though only a couple of inches. Easy peasy to get that off porches and decks.
Lunch at senior center today Then I need to go to Ben Franklin, and see if they have this specific color of yarn. I had 1 skein, and thought that was enough for a baby sweater. Not. I can't even finish the skirt of the sweater or the sleeves. Sure hope if they do not have it, they can order it. I think it is old yarn, been downstairs for a long time. So we shall see.
I could make it into a vest and just have it not so long. We shall see what happens. I do like those little sweater vests. Hoping I can get more yarn...
ok, how was yesterday?
did you move? did I ever
did you drink your water? yes
did you stick to your lifestyle food plan? no
did I sleep? no, still not.
ok, have a healthy day girls. Please pray for Ann and Sarah.
I will keep you posted about Ann, as soon as I receive any news.
