We did food bank today. It is always like Christmas at the food bank. People are all working together to get the truck unloaded and then they patiently wait for their turn to choose their food. There is laughter and cheerful conversation. I really enjoy my work there.
After food bank I picked James up and brought him home with me. He will stay for a few days, then I will take him to his doctor's appointment and see that he gets safely home. I won't have him walking from Tacoma all the way home to Auburn. Especially won't have him walking on the side of that very narrow road during heavy traffic hours.
I started taking Gabapentin this evening. My doctor said not to take it until I am ready to go to bed because it would make me sleepy and possibly dizzy. I already have a problem with falling, I don't need to be dizzy too.
This has been a very good day. There was sunshine, happy people and it is getting warmer. Could I ask for more?
I'll see you all later.
DH and I went to Diabetes Ed. Classes this morning. Didn't get home until 1, had lunch and he was called to drive. He just called and he's about another hour away from getting home.
DS#2 called awhile ago and he isn't coming this weekend after all. He has met a woman he likes so please keep him in your prayers about this.
Patty, you're in for a long winter this year I think. Good thing you keep busy with your needlework.
Ann, What a lovely day for January. You found a good solution for your camper mattress.

Ann, now you are just bragging about the beautiful weather. It got up to 20 today, with more snow. Supposed to snow for the next few days at least, and be cold...
We have the most beautiful day today. 71 degrees. I have the outside doors open to air the place out. It is suppose to last for the next 5 days. That was as far as the weather girl predicts.
DH and I took the new pillow top for our Select Comfort mattress and assembled it in the motor home. Replacing the part that got wet and smelled so moldy. It is so nice. Just like having a whole new mattress. RV beds lift up with storage underneith and with the Select Comfort Mattress it doesn't weigh as much as a regular mattress would. Easy for me to lift the wooden cover. It is still heavy but not like it would be with a regular mattress.
Darn I was going to take something out of the freezer for supper but I forgot before I sat down at the computer. I have no idea what I'm going to fix. We had salmon last night so it will not be fish. Some weeks are so easy to plan and other weeks not so easy.
