Judy, I got the gluten free Bisquick at the Marine base commissary. It is a small box about 1/2 the size of the regular boxes. You might go on Bisquick.com web site and find a store near you or call General Mills 1 800 336-9331 7:30 - 5:30 central time. I think that time is right as the print on my box of Bisquick is tiny tiny. I called the 800 number from a box of Malt o Meal to try and find DIL choc. Malt o Meal and they were able to tell me the store that carried it here and also close to where they live in N. C.
It is snowing outside my windows today. I could do without that. I want to get some bubble wrap for my windows so I can stay a bit warmer in my room. Just looking outside at the falling snow makes me feel cold.
Ann, Can you tell me where you found the Gluten-free Bisquick? I have friends who would like to have that in their pantry. I'd like to try it, though I don't use regular Bisquick because there is a very strong baking powder flavor to the products I make with it. However, If the Gluten-free Bisquick works, I think I can make up a similar mix, using recipes I already have and Gluten-free flour. I'd like to give that a try.
I haven't much planned for the day today. I am considering going down and mixing up some of the Oat Pancakes we had for Christmas breakfast. I am sure Carol would like that and I have all the ingredients in the house, including dehydrated fruit. It will work.
I have a man around the the house but he's not too handy with fix it stuff. Much better at napping. I swear he fell asleep in his chair and napped all afternoon yesterday.
I haven't done much all morning. I must get back to my file cleaning. I already filled two bags of shredded paper and only jammed the shredder once so far. DH even o k ed shredding some statements I had him look over.
DD didn't seem too thrilled with the Gluten Free Bisquick I bought her yesterday. She's not a baker and wanted to know what to do with it. I reminded her, she said she missed pancakes.
We have sun shine and then we get clouds and then the sun comes back for a little bit. I think there maybe some more showers in the next few days. Glad we aren't going any where.

We are getting some snow flurries here. Nothing major. Yes, I did exercise yesterday and drank some water, although probably not enough. and I stayed in my calorie range. I made a few not so good choices. But I'm off on a better foot today, I had my oatmeal for breakfast.
Hope everyone is having a good day and a wonderful weekend, Glenna

Good Morning Patty and Judy and all who will follow.
Last night we took DD's BF and BF's husband out to dinner. We had a Great Time! We got in exercise also as we did a lot of walking. We had a great time visiting with them.
Today I think will be a lazy day except I do have to go grocery shopping. Other than that I am not planning on doing too much. I should be doing a lot of housework but the housework will still be here tomorrow and the next day. I probably will not be doing housework tomorrow because Sundays are Church days and family and friends days.
Yesterday--Yes I did move. Walked! Yes--I did drink my water. Yes--I stayed to my lifestyle eating plan.
Yup, I drank my water and stuck to my food plan. Forget that exercise business. I did have Aiden, my "adopted" grandson bring my two pound barbells upstairs near my computer so I could use them while I play a movie. That's a start.
I haven't been able to get much sleep tonight. Many interruptions and my body and mind just won't settle back down. I'll probably take a nap later in the day.
I talked with two of my sons and one granddaughter yesterday . That isn't bad for a change. I really enjoy talking to my family, they are interesting people who know what is happening locally, nationally and internationally.
Good morning Team, I made a pie from JoAnna's camping cookbook. Not the small one, but the big one. Can't remember the name of it right now. Anyway, the pie was terrible. It was lemon grove coconut pie. It called for lemon jello, and I used lime. that should not have made the pie bad though...I am throwing it out this morning. I hate to throw anything out. Especially my sf ff stuff. Anyone else make this pie and like it?
How was yesterday?
did you move? yes, on the exercise bike, but only a little bit, as I can't do much on it yet. My arms are sore from just that little bit I am doing...lol
