Its so nice to have a man around the house!
No one that handy around here .
the seat was too high for me too, so hubby took the post off, and drilled more holes in the post, so that the seat could be lowered...I have a handy hubby.
I didn't know the name of Patty's bike but thought it was what Judy wrote. When I had physical therpy they had me ride a recumbant bike with handle bars that did not move. I thought that was pretty neat. Easier than a stationary bike.
This has been a busy morning. I headed out to go grocery shopping and after everything was put away DH and I went to pick up the motor home from the repair shop and took it to the storage lot and now home again. I still haven't driven the new car as we need to get a base sticker and need to wait for the tags and insurance papers to come. We could get a visitor pass at the base but not worth having to wait in line for one. I'll drive the car to the bank and pharmacy this week end.
The rest of the afternoon is do nothing. I did pick up a couple of things for DD at the commissary. A small box of gluten free Bisquick and some Boar's Head sliced chicken and an Amy rice mac and cheese frozen dinner. The only one that they had that was gluten free. They make one other but didn't carry it. They had several cake miixes and brownie mixes and even King Arthur flour that is gluten free. DD isn't much of a cook so I don't think she would use them. She said she did miss pancakes so I'll let her see if the Bisquick ones are any good.

Patty, from your description I think you have a recumbant elliptical. I have one too, but the seat doesn't go low enough for me. So I can't take advantage of the arm exercise.
I don't have any idea what I am going to do for New Year's eve. I don't like to drive that night so I leave the roads to the amateur's. You know those people who think they are really good drivers when they drink.
I've made out a menu and before the ink was dry it needs to be changed. That is a total bummer. I put a special Turkey Dinner on Sunday, but that interferes with church for some of my friends so they want me to move that dinner to another time. I'm going to have to check the sequence of the meals I have planned and figure our where I can make a switch.
I am supposed to go pick James up today, but I haven't heard from him so I don't know if I should go or not. I just called and left a message, perhaps he will call me back.
I am sticking to my meal program anyway. I just read an article that said that breakfast isn't necessary. I can't remember where I saw it though. If I do I'll send it to you.
see you later
Good morning Girls,
Anyone have any plans for New Years Eve?
We usually stay home, but this year, DS and DDIL have invited us over there for snackies and to play dice. We won't be over there late, as son goes to bed early.
Last night about 10PM,. I went downstairs and cleaned up the kitchen. I did not want to get up to a messy kitchen. So dishes were put away, dishes were put into the dishwasher, kitchen floor was swept and mopped. Then I rode on the exercise bike for 3 minutes...that is hard work. But I will get better.
How was yesterday?
did you move?
yes, but only on the exercise bike
today I am going to ride it twice. Once this morning, and once this afternoon. We shall see
did you drink your water?
did you stick to your lifestyle food plan?
That is a pic of one of JoAnna's pumpkin pies, made without sugar...lol
yes, I did
Let's make today a healthy day.
