We had some wind up here. Last night there was a lot of rain and I thought it would melt the snow, but when I woke this morning I found that we were having a blizzard. So much for going to Seattle tomorrow. I got on the computer and canceled all three of my appointments for tomorrow. Our long distance service is also out so I am not able to make any calls.
I am praying the power doesn't go out. We are currently heating only our bedrooms with small oil filled radiators. I have the oven on, but I think that will run out of fuel fairly soon. Living here is getting more and more problematic. I am thinking that after the first I may put all my things in storage and light out.
I will check with the housing authority in Vancouver to see where I am on their list now. I was third, but I haven't heard from them for quite a while.
We'll see what happens.

It gets dark so fast. Just another week and the days will slowly get longer. The wind did blow last night and this morning but I think the highest gust was around 50. No damage. We had a couple of power blips this afternoon. After the first one I just went around and reset the clocks when the second one happened I do like the time of night when the outside Christmas icicle lights come on.
I've been gathering materials to give to the new TOPS leader and decluttering. You never know what you find when you're going through boxes.
Kitchen and bathroom are cleaned and mopped.
Patty, You didn't mention it so I'm hoping your DH is doing better.
Glenna, Thank you for the update on Sarah.
Ann, I'm so glad the one bag of chemo is better than two and you were able to do so much.

Ann, I was thinking the same thing about Sarah. Perhaps this will get her some much needed help. I am reminded of the saying that God never closes a door, but He opens a window for us. You are certainly a trooper with the chemo treatments. I remember when Mom had the chemo washes on her bladder. They do take their toll on a body. I know it made her very tired. I am glad you are able to do so much. It is good that they are giving you shots for your white blood cells.
Glenna, Sarah,s trip to the hospital may have been a blessing in disguise. Seems like she is getting some much needed help she wasn't getting at home. I hope she continues to do well.
Jan, I can't imagine winds that strong. I would hope this time they would close those high bridges to high profile vehicles and trucks.
Yesterday we got the tree up and then went out to supper as our usual Sunday night. I'm not wobbily like I generally am when I get two bags of chemo. One bag has been a breeze. I was up at 8 a.m., did my walk with Leslie, took a shower, ate breakfast and at the doctors office at 9:30 for my shot to bring the white blood cells up.
Then we drove to the storage yard where the motor home is. I followed DH in the car and we put the motor home in the shop to have the water leaks around the air conditioner fixed. DH had brought all the bed linen and pillow top home to dry out. The pillow top has a few drops of mild dew stains but I can't smell any and I've got a pretty good smeller. I will have to take the comforter bed spread to the laundry to have it washed. Thank goodness it is washable. The bedspread that came with the motor home would have to be dry cleaned and I bet the water stains wouldn't come out.
I think I will tackle my ironing. A good day to stay home as it is very cloudy out and could rain some more any minute.

Hi Ladies, Patty, yes to all three questions, move, water, and food plan (calorie range).
I visited with Sarah yesterday. She asked that I tell everyone hello for her. She is still on the antibiotics. Her sugar runs a bit high sometimes, so they are working with that. She sounds much, much better. Stronger and more like her usual self.
It is cloudy and warm here today. We are supposed to have rain today and tomorrow.
