Today was house blessing Monday. Laundry. Box up autumn things so Christmas can come out. Also preparation for TOPS. In the middle of it all I moved an interior door that is waiting to be installed and propped it against a wall. A while later DH comes along and bumps into it and my wall shelves with a collection of little glass animals came tumbling down. Grrr. Thankfully only two had damage and they weren't the favorites from years ago.
Patty, it will be nice when your home is nice and toasty again throughout.
Glenna, Enjoy the snow tomorrow. Just hear those sleigh bells jingling ring ting tingling too!
Ann, Going to the store nowadays makes more of a ka-ching, ka-ching than ever. It can be shocking.
Good Morning. I have done so good this morning. I got to the base and got my Toys for Tots gifts and family Christmas cards and then to the commissary. It was busier than usual but I got through and home with every thing put away by 11:30. Pretty good since the commissary doesn't open until 10 a.m. It was a light shopping day as for putting stuff in my cart but not light on the pocket book. I didn't buy any meat either. There is no room in the freezer so we've got to eat up what is in there now.
Now I have two hours before my doctor app't.
Sarah, I have some gel a lady gave me to try on my hair, but I'm reluctant to use it yet. All the paper work from the oncology package said when your hair starts to grow out use only baby shampoo and don't put any chemical stuff on it.
Patty, glad you are feeling better. How is your DD doing from her surgery. Is she able to work yet? When I heat the house on cold days I shut the bedroom doors. No sense heating them. Our famly room will get warm on a sunny day as it is on the south side of the house.
Glenna, I see a shovel in your near future. I'm so glad we don't have to do that. DH would be out there and he shouldn't shovel. It was bad enough last week when he was moving dirt in the back yard. He did get all the junk off the porch back there. Now the junk is in the corner of the back yard. Gardening pots, saw horses, screen to sift dirt, hoses etc. You know we really need a dirt screen.. The screen has been borrowed by more neighbors than used by DH.
No cooking for me today. I need to take some Swiss steaks out of the freezer and cook them in the crock pot tomorrow. That will give us a couple of meals.

Hi Patty and all who follow, I hope your week is off to a great start! That is one good thing about Monday, it's a fresh week and a fresh start!
The sun is shining here. But we are supposed to start getting snow tonight. Well actually snow and rain. Tonight and tomorrow both. I think we could get up to 4 inches of snow. The sun was nice yesterday and melted the snow we got on Saturday.
I need to do some cleaning and straightening out today. Pick up clutter, etc. Just the usual stuff.
Anyone cooking anything interesting today?
Talk to everyone later, Glenna

Good Monday morning Girls, How was your weekend. I am so proud of all of you for posting so often. It makes us closer, and will help in our weight losses, to continue posting here, even if it isn't about food.
It is still snowy, it is still cold upstairs. Soon, we will be starting that big stove downstairs, and the whole house will be warm, except for 1 room, instead of as it is now, using the small stove, and only that one room warm...seems silly, I know, but the big stove needs to be roaring hot to work properly.
How was your yesterday? did you drink your water? yes
did you stick to your food plan? yes
did you move? no
I have not been out of the house since Wednesday...
I do feel a bit better today. Still sore, but not as bad. So yay. I am starting to heal.
Have a blessed day girls. I am so proud of all of you. Patty
