Well I finally go on the computer. It only took me 1/2 an hour. I don't know why we are having trouble lately with AOL.
Our weather is the same a yours Sarah. Gloomy but I doubt we will have any rain. Yesterday was so nice. My house smells pretty good as I bake a Chocolate Zucchini Cake from scratch. A recipe from the low fat cooking class I took a few years back. No frosting just some Cool Whip on top when it is served.
Patty, I have no idea how to take pictures and put them on the computer. Just picture a pile of yarn in all colors piled in two 30 gallon trash bags. That is where they sit. I'm knitting a blue and white trim hat now that I'm anxious to finish so I can use some of the new colors I bought yesterday.
I've been cutting out paper snowmen that will be turned into little nut cups or holders for candy. They are cut from heavy paper and after a while my hand starts to hurting so I knit a while and then cut a couple and then knit some more. They will get goo goo eyes and a tiny red bow at their neck. The hat gets painted black with a felt marker. Of course the box part for the goodies have to be glued together. I will work assembly line. I have 20 cut out but will do some more.

No to Black friday shopping Sarah..never. We accidently did it once, and never again.
lunch at senior center today.
had to have the truck towed to the shop again. I think once it is fixed this time, we are going to sell it...
hubby needs to take the dog to the vet, eye infection and get her nails clipped.
That's about it for us.
I have 2 scarves finished. Another one 2/3 done.
Two more started. I am so into scarves right now. Mostly I am using the blue knifty knitter loom and homespun yarn.
Ann, I sure would like to see all those hats.
I bought all this Homespun yarn at a yarn sale a few years ago, for $1 a skein. A huge savings, as 1 skein makes 1 scarf.
I have been cold lately. Remember when I was hot all the time, now I am cold all the time. It will be nice next month, when we start using our big wood stove, and moving downstairs to that room. That is always nice and toasty.
have a good day.

Good morning Sarah, It's good to see you post. I know what you mean about a day passing by before you get turned around.
I slept well. The sun is out and it's 40 at 8:00 AM. I've got a mammogram at 10. Then I'm leading this month's Bible study. We use a book so this isn't difficult but it would have been a lot more fun if this week hadn't turned out to be such a strange one.
My plans for Thanksgiving are pretty simple. I've got the turkey in the freezer and most other supplies on hand. I was thinking of trying some great-sounding recipes but I'll have to be more careful until I get my blood sugar in good control.
I'm hoping there's a window of time when I can get outside for a walk today. It's tricky with appointments and Bible study lasts a couple of hours.

It is overcast here today bit no rain. Where is this month going???? It is half over and Thanksgiving is headed our way!
My days slip away before I get turned around good. I keep thinking I'll post but then head off to do something and next thing you know the day is gone!
What is on your agenda today? What are your plans for the holiday? Any Black Friday shopping?
Enjoy this day!
