I sure would love to see those hats.
Jan, DD is doing well, though slow to get the pain gone. Dr said 3 to 6 weeks usually, it will be 4 weeks tomorrow.
Hi Patty & Ann & everyone else who drops in to visit today,
It was a busy weekend and now a busy week coming up. This morning I went through my medical records to get ready for a doctor's appointment tomorrow. Found a lab sheet she gave me last spring so I got ready and went down to the hospital. Sometimes Mondays particularly are a zoo for labs but I was greatly relieved only one person was ahead of me in the registration area so it was a quick process. Glad to have that over. Doctor's appointment tomorrow and then a mammogram on Thursday. I'm also leading the once a month Thursday Bible study on Thursday afternoon so trying to go over that again.
Patty, the knitting club sounds like a perfect thing for you. How is your daughter doing after back surgery?
Ann, Were the santas Fitz & FLoyd? Those are great designs. I looked at the hospital's new gift shop since it was near the lab and I've heard it's wonderful. The lady's group was having a Christmas bazaar and there were baked goods, Christmasy things. The gift shop had some wonderful things, too, and the prices were good. It's always nice when a friend or family member collects certain things and it makes it easy to find a gift for them.

Good Afternoon Patty and all to follow. It was either 42 or 45 when I go up this morning outside. DH had lite the hall wall heater yesterday but I didn't turn it on until this morning to get the chill out I shut the bedrooms and the family room and it didn't take long to warm up the place. After I read the paper and had breakfast I was off to grocery shop. I did make a quick stop in the base exchange as they had sent ads out with some cute snow man figues. I didn't see any snow men but did see 3 small Santa's. They were Fritz china. ???? I debated about getting them for my DIL as she collects Santa's and I had sent her three before but don't think they were china. HIome and all the groceries are put away. I sure spent the money and didn't buy any meat except for some bolonga for DH.
Patty, that will be fun to have a knitting club at your senior center. I have no idea what the senior center that isn't that far away has for activities. I know they do serve lunch. I've got to make a trip to WalMart as all the yarn colors I have now are blues and white and off white. I have 100 hats bagged up for some charity. Then I have about 15 more in a drawer that are done.
After grocery shopping I think the rest of the day I will be lazy.

Good morning girls,
Yesterday was 67, today 39...brr.
We have the wood stove going again this morning.
A new knitting club starting today at the senior center. It will meet once a week. Now I need to find something to knit, as everything I have started is either crochet or loom knitting. I know I could take one of those items, but I want to knit something.
How was yesterday?
did you move?
no, just in stores, Goodwill, Sam's and Save a lot
did you drink your water?
did you stick to your lifestyle eating plan?
Let's make today a healthy day.
