I am not looking forward to snow this winter. I want to get out of here before the snow flies, but that may not be possible. Still I am getting ready for the move.

I feel bad for Glenna. We have been without power for as many as ten days. That is rugged because when the power is out, so is our furnace and my oven. I can cook on top of the stove but that is all.

Sometimes I think I'd like to move down on the inland side of the Baja , but I am not sure it would be cool enough in the summer. I can deal more easily with cold than heat. I grew up in Michigan and the summers were hot and humid, the winters cold and humid. It is strange, but here in Washington and in Oregon I don't feel the damp until I get down to sea level. Then it hits me hard, every bone in my body hurts. As long as I stay up a little higher I am just fine. Here at the two thousand foot level I generally feel really great.

I hope Glenna gets her power back very soon and there is no other problem for her to deal with. I know they are having a problem getting fuel in the storm area and I hope that isn't effecting her.
I have been keeping up with the news as best I can, but I have been really busy yesterday and today.

Tomorrow I expect to go back down to Vancouver to see my daughter and drop off her copy of my POA. It covers both medical and financial needs. I want that to be in place just in case. James is going with me. While I am down there I will try to find the apartment complex I am hoping to get into.
I updated my application on Thursday, so everything is pretty well set. Now all I need is for three persons to evacuate their premises

Gotta go now, I am really trying to catch up with my e-mail.

Love, Judy emoticon

Hi Everyone

I bet the snow is beautiful Patty. So clean and serene looking before traffic gets to it. Stay nice and warm.

Ann we are at 77 degrees right now. Better than the cold temps Patty and Glenna are having. Enjoy your reading day!

Glenna is still without electricity and said it might be another week before they get it back. She gpot her phone back. Said "they" put it on a generator. I'm taking it that "they" are they phone company. They are all doing ok.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday!

Patty, I'm sure your storm is beautiful too look at but I don't miss it at all. 62 degrees this morning and will warm up a little more. The sky is clear and the sun is out.

i don't have any plans for today. I'll probably start a book to read. I'm not a happy person that day light savings time ends tonight. I hate it being dark at 5 p.m.

That's right, I woke up to the ground covered with snow, and still snowing. I doubt it will stay, but it sure was a pretty sight.

How was yesterday?
did you move?
yes, 1 mile walking in the house

did you drink your water?
yes

did you stick to your new lifestyle eating plan?
yes

finally, yesterday was a day of 3's...

Let's make today a healthy day.
Patty
