Yesterday was cooler than the first couple of days so that was nice and I don't think will get over 85 today. I can handle that. We're inside for the activities but walking there the short distance gets warm when over 90. I take my umbrella. I fell like I'm blind walking into the sun even with sun glasses on.
There is a lady here from Az. at the rally with hair 1" on top which is about what mine it and hers is white too. She wears it standing up. I asked her how she got it to stand up like that. She gave me the name of a ???? that she gets at WalMart that you just put a little on your hand and rub it into damp hair. The next day she brought her tube to show me what it looked like and she had taken a small pill bottle and filled it with the stuff. I haven't tried it yet. She likes her hair short living in the hot climate. It looked nice on her too.
DH still has the hang on cough from allergies. He thought he had a cold but I know it was allergies. They both seem like the same thing with him. He will go a long time with out coughing and then starts up again. He's off for a couple of seminars on the RV engine etc. That is not interesting to me.
I guess what is happening is we have to call Road Service tomorrow (the day we want to be towed) and they will arrange a tow truck to come and tow us to the nearest place that can repair the brake problem. Members here say where they suggest is a good place to go. One of the men that works there gave a seminar the other day and DH talked to him. We're sure hoping they bring a flat bed truck to put the motor home on. Too big to raise the front and tow as the rear bumper would probably drag if going over a bump.
We'll gather up stuff tomorrow and load the car. Then we'll follow the tow truck to the repair shop. At the repair shop we'll call the fellow that was here the other day and he will meet us there and put the rig in the locked area after we hand over the keys to him. Then we can drive home. That shop is about 35 miles further north.
We've had to have work done while traveling before but never have had to be towed. I don't think DH will travel again with out extra pills with him.
Last night we had a 14 piece American Bavarian Brass Band entertain us.
Very loud but very good. They was a lady that sang and got the member up for the chicken dance and other silly stuff. She had such a cute costume on and I'm sure she was over 60. She also had a very good voice.
We have an ice cream social this afternoon and you know everyone will show up for that. Last nights dinner was brats, red cabbage and German potato salad. And tiny bit of apple strudel for desert. I'm not a brats lover but did eat 1/2 of one. Tonight is dinner on your own and I'm sure we'll find someone to join in a local restaurant. There are plenty of restaurants in town.
When I lost my hair due to the chemo, no more chin hairs. When the hair started to grow back I think the chin hairs were the first to show up.
