Todays expected rain didn't materialize. DH and I had a nice walk on the riverwalk this morning.
Getting ready for TOPS tomorrow. I talked to our Secretary who had back surgery yesterday in Portland. Her daughter will be driving her home probably tomorrow and then will stay with her for a few days. Also had a call from a former member and had a nice chat.
Since it has been cooler and some rainy, stormy days I have been struggling with being hungry. I expect I'll have a gain this week. Anyone else experiencing this? I keep thinking I'll plan some heartier recipes but I'm waiting for payday, too.
Patty, I'm sorry you aren't resting well. At least you know there's light at the end of the tunnel and good rest will happen again. Hope all is well with your daughter.
Sarah, I can't even imagine a warm day right now. It's a sunny 55 here.
Ann, Are you still waiting to find out what needs repair with your camper? Leftovers can be wonderfully welcome meals the next day.

Still Morning for a few more minutes. And Sarah there is plenty of sun here. Last night cooled down for sleeping but I didn't sleep as well as normal. Tonight will be better.
Patty, the cranberry pills are a good idea and especially good when traveling. Both times I have an UTI we have been on the road.
Jan, I carry flannel sheets in the motor home but rarely put them on the bed as we don't do much camping any more with out electricity and we do have an electric blanket with us. I don't like the flannel sheets we have. They are heavy and were cheap. I'm sure there are better ones to be bought that I would like better.
DH went to breakfast with his friend and then came back with he and his wife. Just the men went to breakfast. Gee, they are old like we are. They live a block or two from this RV park. They live in a mobile home park.
Just about lunch time and I have 1/2 a chicken salad left from last nights dinner out. Not sure what we are doing for a meal tonight. It will have to be early.
Ann in San Diego
how are y'all doing today? All is well here. Lots of sunsh9ine.
Ann so sorry you started your trip off with a problem. I hope the rest goes smoothly.
Patty I hope you get some rest. Your daughter is in my prayers. I pray she gets relief with her surgery.
Jan your chili must have hit the spot on a rainy day! Those flannel sheets sound cozy for cold days.
Judy glad your surgery went well. Hoping today is even better for you than yesterday.
Glenna I agree with Jan, love the new avatar!
Moving-- a little
Did you drink (water), eat your fruits and veggies and a healthful food plan and move? If not let's think about how we can incorporate those into our days.
Enjoy this day!

I am still not sleeping well. I sleep for a couple of hours, then toss and turn. oh my
this has been going on for over a week. Will probably settle down after the funeral on Sat.
DD surgery is today. We pick her up at 7 this morning to take her in.
Then another long day.
I will be walking back and forth in the hospital halls to get my 1 mile in. Good idea, yes?
Remember your 3 healthy rules...
Sarah will post them later.
Just a quick dash here.
I have been sticking to my diet.
Did not walk yesterday, but have been doing well on it Most every day.
Water, not so much, as we are gone all the time, settling this or finishing that for this weekend.
We did go to lunch at senior center yesterday.
Sunday I stayed home all day. It had been a long time since I had a day at home.
One quick tip about water. If you are in a position to not be able to get your water in, do not forget to take your cranberry pills. You can find them at Sam's Walmart, most places that have a pharmacy.
I used to get bladder infections all the time. Now, never, as long as I take the cranberry pills. Some how it keeps the infections away. I have told many people about this, and they have started taking the pills, and no more bladder infections...
Soon we will be a nation of cranberry popping pill takers with no more bladder infections...yay
ok, have a good day girls.
