It was a pouring down rain and blowing wind day here. Lots of house cleaning, laundry. We had Blazing Glory Chili for dinner and Impossible Apple Pie.
Judy, Glad your surgery went well and tomorrow will probably be even better.
I've been so hungry lately- I think to do with the stormy weather. I need to really concentrate on good choices. I'm at the top of my calorie range. Need to move more. The one thing I did real well today was drink my water.
Glenna, I like your new avatar.
Sarah, I actually put the flannel sheets on the bed today. If it's too warm I'll change back to the lighter ones. Thank you for getting us all started each day.
DH set the computer up so I can see what is going on. We took the longer round about back road to this town with lots of traffic light. The last 10 miles DH and I started to smell something but could not put our finger on the smell. Pretty soon the brake light came on. We think they got over heated. Once we got parked and had some lunch DH called road service. Seems like the motor home will have to be towed to have a look at the brakes. We put road service on hold until we figure out if there is a local place that will come out and look at them. Seems if they tow us it will be further away from home than toward it. If we choose road service repair place they will pay for the towing. I told DH maybe they could tow it Monday. We could load up the car and drive the car home. We don't have that much stuff with us. In fact our Nov. camp out is early in Nov. and we have to come pretty much in this direction to it. We'll see.
Some of our group have filtered in for the early parking. I've had a nice chat with one of the younger gals. She even brought me a bouquet of flowers.
Oh, is it hot. The gal that brought the flowers said she doesn't like the heat either. They traveled this summer to Yellowstone, Glacier, and Wyoming. She said it was so hot it was miserable. Our thermometer say 95 out side. AND we are quite a walking distance to the hall where the activities will be. I'm sure the parking spots near the hall will fill up fast. There are over 1,000 RV sites in this park.
I made a trip to the grocery store this morning before we left home for some milk and Honey Crisp apples that were on sale. I lucked out that this store had pots of mums. Then I took the plant to Michael's and got a basket to set the pot in. Now I just have to buy the gift cards at WalMart. I'm so glad that little task is done.

I have been working more on getting my water in. My food plan has been a bit off today. And haven't exercised yet. So that is my Monday! The sun is peeking out now. It has been mostly cloudy today, after rain last night.
Hope everyone is doing ok. Glenna
