good evening everyone. I'm in Seattle. We had a nice trip up. It is raining fairly hard now. I am so glad the rain started gently so the ground would absorb most of it. Now that the soil has some moisture it will continue to absorb the greater amount falling now.

Oh Jan! How I envy you. One of my favorite things is elephant ears. I wish I could have on, but I think that would be way, way too many carbs. I am staying away from places where I might find some elephant ears.

Michael just brought me some apples so I am going to sign out for a while.

See you tomorrow.

Love, Judy emoticon

Good Evening all. I'm late today too. Been checking my list of stuff to load in the motor home and think we are about ready. We won't leave early as the camp ground has a fee for early arrivals. Arrival time is 1 p.m. Maybe a 2 hour drive.

We ate at the soup and salad place. I sure didn't eat a lot. They had delicious zucchini muffins tonight. Also a good tomato basil soup. And my favorite Choc. Lava Cake. Then we went to WalMart which is right by the restaurant. A busy place but the express lines are never very long. I spotted a smallist battery operated wall clock to replace the one in the motor home that hasn't worked in several years. DH was really attached to it. lol

I still have to find something to stick the gift card in for a Make A Wish prize. People buy tickets and in front of each gift basket is a can that you put your ticket in. This way you get to pick what you are hoping to win and don't get wine when you don't drink it. I still haven't gotten the gift cards but there is a Super WalMart in the town we are going to. I haven't decided if I will get Wal Mart, Home Depot of some restaurant. Our chapter pays for the prize. I wanted a basket of mums but have not found any yet. Maybe it is too hot.

When in the grocery store yesterday I saw the cutest haunted house. It was probably made of heavy wire and just an outline. Probably 12" high. I don't know what I would do with it but was also thinking about GD who has a bang up Halloween Party every year. DS and DIL will be driving down to help her get it set up and mom will probably do some of the cooking.

Hi Sarah,

Rainy, windy day here. I took a nap after church and I'm reading the second book in the Rose trilogy. It just feels good having a quiet afternoon.

I have a pumpkin decoration on my front door. Awhile ago I heard what almost sounded like a knock. I think a bird tried to steal the fake berries on it. What a disappointment for the bird.

Yesterday I didn't get all my water in, since I had half an elephant ear I'd say I didn't stick to my diet, but I sure walked around a lot!
