More hugs for you Patty. ((((((((((((((((((((BIG HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))) I know you will be busy but thanks for stopping by. More good prayers for your DD surgery.
Judy, you have been a busy entertainer. I'm sure every one enjoyed your meals. Chicken Pot Pie does sound good. Another very good used book web site is abebooks.com. They have many vendors all over the U.S. on their site and I've had excellent service from them. The last bunch of books I ordered all came from one vendor in Tacoma.
My house is getting really stinky. I have the oven on cleaning. Last time I baked pizza slices from Costco they made a mess. I forgot to put a pan on the shelf under them. A month or so ago I was having trouble with my oven heating. It seemed to take forever. Called Sears repair and had a new ingniter or such put in and now I can get 400 degees heated in about 7 -8 min. 5 min. for 350. It wasn't a cheap fix but surely saving on gas.
We're going to leave Mon. for the Rally. That will put us in two days early. So today I must get busy and get stuff loaded. They are providing several meals so I won't take much food. I'm sure a bunch of us will eat out a couple of times. This sleepy little town has blossomed over the years and has lots of restaurants that are well known. This town is a snow bird haven come cold weather in the north. I checked the temperatures for the coming week and the nights will be in the mid 50's but the days in the very low 90's. That's hot for me.
Jan, I hope you start to feel better and get out to your pumpkin hunt.
Sarah, I think we missed any more chance of rain. Good in once sense as this week end is the Marines Air Show. Right now it is quite but I expect this afternoon we will get lots of moise. The Blue Angels are in town.

Patty my prayers are with you and your family. Take care of yourself, get some rest so you don't get worn down.
Jan enjoy your day today. The Pumpkin Patch will be fun.
Hope everyone is having a good day. Enjoy.

Patty, This morning when I saw your message about your Mom passing, I felt a peace for her as you surely do. It made me think how much our group shares of their lives on here. I don't think any of us have met face to face but we care about each other. I will continue to pray for you and your family.
Yesterday when I got home from errands my nose suddenly got snuffly. I have occasional allergies and with the first rain in a long time that might be what it is, but I'm sitting here this morning assessing things to see if we'll go to the Pumpkin Patch or not. Nose is better but slight headache. I'm going to take some Advil and get dressed. I want some of those sweet pumpkins.

First of all, thank you girls for all the love you give to me, and to each of us. I think this group is really special, and I want you to know how much I appreciate all of you.
Second, Sarah, please continue to post the healthy things to do. I will be swamped this next week again with funeral arrangements and with DD surgery.
Thirdly, wanted to report on my healthy things this past week.
Three times, Wed, thurs and fri, I walked 1 mile in Mom's room back and forth over and over again, watching continually to the blanket rising and falling from her breathing.
My diet was great.
My water only about half.
Will try to do better today.
