Good Morning. I think we might have had a shower during the early morning as the side walk and drive way looked wet. It isn't cloudy and I think that was the last of it. Maybe the mountains will get some more. It was a chilly 61 when I logged on to the computer. I know that is warm to a lot of you.
DH and I have been busy going through a bunch of supplies we are storing for our caravan chapter. We have decided since there has been no activity in the last several years we will down size the club and get rid of some of the supplies. At the rally we are going to they have a silent auction and it will be a good place to 'sell' stuff. The money goes to Make A Wish foundation so a worthy cause. We have an electric coffee pot, electric tea pot and a very good P A System. Each is in a hand made box that weighs a ton. I went through a box of plastic and paper supplies and made up a box that can go as a one item for bid. Plastic knives, forks, spoons, envelopes of sugar and sugar sub. a couple of new table clothes, etc etc. There is a stack of at least 100 paper plates. Maybe it will bring in a few dollars. Then there is a First Aid Kit that one of our doctors put together. I bet there are at least 50 items in the bag. Some may be out dated but most are still useable. We have club shirts with a logo on them and even one jacket. So much stuff to store. The club still has sizable money in the treasury so we don't want to fold for if we do we have to turn the money over to the Int'l Club. We will use it over the next few years for rally door prizes and charity donations.
DS called dad to see if he would pick up GS at school in the nurse's office. He wasn't feeling well. Don't you know it is always DS that gets these calls and not his mother. I wonder if he will feel good enough to go camping with his mother tomorrow. Oh, I just remembered GS has two basketball games tonight. I wonder if he will make a rapid recovery.
Back to my cleaning project.
