Yes, I did enjoy my pedicure but most of all it was good to see the girls in the shop. I have gone there for so many years they feel like family. They all admired my 'hair'.
This morning I got some ironing done and I had taken the spice baggie out of the motor home to put fresh spices in there. I have some little zip lock bags about 1/2 the size of snack bag that I keep a couple of tabl. of different spices in. Then I 'file' them in a plastic cracker size container and put the whole thing in a gallon zip lock bag. A few spices I use more often stays in the jar they came in i e cinnamon, dill weed, Well, that task lead me to go through the spice jars in the house and look for expiration dates. I notice newer ones do have an expiration date on the jar. Older ones don't. I now have about 6 spices I will have to buy on the next shopping trip.
The Marines are flying again this afternoon and they are loud. They were out there flying last night too but took a break during supper and then started up again.
It has been a beautiful day today. Just about perfect.

I guess we were posting at the same time.
Enjoy the pedicure.

How is your day going? I am doing little jobs around the house today. Still have some things to do before I stop for the day.
Patty I hope you get a good visit with your DM. I sure hope your toe heals fast.
Jan Hope you figure out what to do for DH's eye. I love reading success stories and the lady you saw in your magazine sure had great success! Hooray for her! Could you post the Apple Pie recipe please? I don't see it in the index and it sure sounds good.
I have a pot of beans on cooking. That is the extent of my cooking today?
Enjoy your day everyone!

Jan, that is interesting about the Tops Queen living in Zeeland, Mi. That is the same town the Team Leader of the Spark Team RV bunch just moved to. Before the move she lived inland a bit. Sorry your scale was up. Too bad about your DH black eye. Maybe some ice for the swelling. GS got a black eye for the first time a week or so ago. At basketball he took an elbow in a jump shot.
Back later gotta jump in the shower before I go for a pedicure.

Good morning everyone,
The sun is shining this morning and it's a beautiful, cool autumn day. I want to get out for a walk as soon as possible.
Well, DH has a black eye! A couple of days ago he bumped his forehead on a shelf and yesterday afternoon the eye was red and swollen. This morning it's almost shut. I need to google to see what he should do for it.
My dining room table is messy again so my project today is to empty it. Also want to make Blazing Glory Chili and Impossible Apple Pie.
I got my TOPS magazine yesterday in the mail and the International King runner up this year was a man from Eugene, OR. Patty, the International Queen for this year is Julie Vanden Berg from Zeeland, Michigan. She lost 214.75 lb. and is beautiful.

I am thinking my toe was jammed instead of broken. It is not really giving me many fits, if I keep the flat shoe on, and continue to take 2 Aleve twice a day...I did well yesterday, though I was tired out by the time we got home...Walking in all those stores, I probably got 1/2 mile in...my toe was sore when we got home...lol
Going to visit with Mom today. The time cousin and I usually go to visit, will not work anymore, cause Mom is taking a nap after lunch now, as she is very tired out.
So we are going to try for around 4 this afternoon, after nap and before supper...so arranged it with cousin, that we will go to the store first, for coffee and shopping and visiting, then go visit with Mom...we shall see how that works out...
ok, how was yesterday?
did you move?
yes, probably 1/2 mile slow walking
did you drink your water?
did you stick to your diet?
Let's make today a healthy day.
